My compromise.

EVERYBODY will pick the parts of the Constitutiom and law that they like.

Your so called freedom fighters will be traitorous criminals.

Just like George Washington.

They'll be defending The Constitution from a domestic enemy.

The political excuses made by far right wing criminals attacking their fellow Americans will mean nothing.

Which still makes no sense as a rational reply to my posts because it was a far right rebellion that was being discussed.

A revolt would because the Leftists defacto dissolved The Constitution.

Don't suspend our constitutiinal rights by ignoring the 2nd Amendment and everything's cool.

There will be no attacks on fellow citizens. It will be a defense against a domestic enemy.

If by the words "the gunners" you mean armed violent rebels committing criminal actions then your first sentence is correct.

OK, but my sentence applies to any "armed violent rebels committing criminal actions," whether the Republic of Texas or the NBPP.

That's bunk.

And I said I hope the Leftists don't force things to go that far.

The 'left' you talk about is all of the rest of America, which is 92 to 94%, you goof ball.

you are claiming 92-94% of the public supports gun confiscation and gun bans?

I have no idea where you get that from. It is absurd in the extreme. You get what society says you can have and the rest is illegal. As long as the right can be exercised - you have no complaint.

Society should be able to dictate civil rights? Stuff like gay marriage, abortion, suffrage based on race and genger, etc.?

How much powder to fire it?

a kid I knew had one that used calcium carbide. It would shoot a lacrosse ball several hundred meters.

Only a goof ball like you would suggest that. I am saying that more than 9 of 10 Americans would actively put down a right wing armed rebellion of so called citizens

Good shot!!!

My first welding project was a trebuchet. I could launch a golf ball about 90 feet....if it hit concrete or asphalt, it'd bounce another 90.

9 out of 10 Americans would side with the revolt.

my late mother taught European medieval to early modern history. I was sick a bunch as a kid, so she had me read text books. I became rather well informed about such items, and since her father was a machine tool designer, with a state of the art machine shop in his home, I could usually talk him into helping me build such items. we built a 1/8th scale rope torsion fired catapult that would launch a melon a fair distance. The frame was easy-but grandad made the ratchet gear that was used to torque the twisted rope. When I got a bit older, I built a similar sized rope powered ballista

Awesome. Any videos or GIFs of it?

No, I haven't shot it in years. My dad built it years ago, for an unspecified purpose. I wound up with it somehow...lol.

It's in my shop and I see it all the time. I just haven't gotten around to touching it off.
