Masked gunman killed after shootout in Lauderhill home invasion

I've been using the 90% figure because it's what I've seen most often. I've also seen 85% or a range given 85-90%. Along with 82.5%, of those ratios do not change the point.

I could believe that.

QED/; id people didn't have access to guns, then less people would die, because more people would survive suicide attempts.

which is why, after 22000 gun laws in the USA, we certainly don't need anymore

and since almost every person pushing gun laws is a lefty, it is apparent gun laws are a weapon of political warfare, not really motivated by public safety

As usual, you can’t backup your “22000” gun law claim, which is likely false like so many of your others. I don’t expect you to give a link to any valid evidence of fact.

In fact, over the three years following Newton, 39 states passed at least 117 new pieces of legislation that make gun laws more strict, according to the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence, a nonpartisan group that tracks legislation across the country. However, at least 70 successful state measures had weakened gun laws since Newtown.

So, TD, as usual I give more evidence to refute the garbage you post. Garbage which you can’t prove.

BTW your link doesn't work and congress is just one of many sources of additional sources of laws

Let us examine the silliness of your argument

1) you don't believe my assertion about the number of gun laws and

2) your rebuttal is noting more laws were passed in some states. Whether they weakened or strengthened existing laws or added additional restrictions doesn't refute my point

and what constitutes a gun law is a subject of much heated discussion. Proper gun laws are ones that prohibit the harmful or reckless use of firearms, etc. Like using a firearm to further a robbery, rape, or murder.

For once you make a valid point.

I make valid points all the time. Like pointing out that banning guns is more likely to disarm peaceful and honest folks while not doing much to disarm people who already commit serious felonies by owning guns

Sadly you don't

Usually your points are:-

1. What about cars, knives etc

2. Constitutional right

3. No evidence

4. From my cold dead fingers...

5. Guns don't kill people

6. Only criminals will have guns

7. I need my guns to protect myself

8. Why don't you go live in...(add a country of your choice here)

9. Confiscating guns is an impossible task
