If you guys are so right, how come mass shootings keep happening? Obviously one bad apple in a barrel of guns doesn't turn the rest bad by your thinking.

why do people keep dying in DUI wrecks? Mass shootings are rare-in california-in thirty years less than 5 people a year have died. Liberal gun haters want to focus on these rare shooting because it fits their current agenda of trying to ban rifles and those shootings tend not to be perpetrated in inner city areas, run by democrats and featuring minorities.

Folks sometimes feel they are defending the second amendment but in reality are supporting more mass shootings with your refusal to even consider changing the laws.

True, many mass shooters are mentally disturbed and don't see the consequences of their actions

Many do and decide beforehand that they will kill themselves before capture

Both indicate, that in these cases, the law is no deterrent.


The only answer left is to deny them access to guns and yes sadly that means you too and millions of gun owners who will never commit a crime or let their guns be involved with one.

A whole lot of working folk voted for him and are still with him. I think that one portion of Lincoln's famous phrase should be changed to "..., you can fool many of the people all of the time...". To that you can add the biggest lie/misperception both politicians and talking heads/media say to do with the voter (usually to do with being fooled): "People are smarter than that".

It is interesting that Trump haters are usually gun banners. If you value your gun ownership rights, Trump was the only real choice in 2016 and in 2020-since every democrat running is a gun banner

I know

I've read that the bulk of his supporters are white males with no college education

I would categorize them as flag waving, chest pounding "Patriots". Probably intolerant to minority groups as proud of their 'Merica culture.


Fact is that Republicans take their votes but give them nothing.

What about prohibition, was that not also a failure too ?

There's actually a case to be argued for legalizing drugs, not so for guns.

By your logic the USA should not ban anything and make everything legal.


Happily though guns are not like drugs and if they're properly banned, they're somewhat harder to make and smuggle.

You need your guns for recreation and self gratification....they come poor second against the number of livers lost/maimed per year due to guns

They would winess the wholesale slaughter of the US citizenry before they gave up their precious guns.

It's like asking them to give up their flag or V8 truck/muscle car.

I shot a mugger. that caused the LEAST amount of damage to him, the other mugger and me. Because if I didn't have the gun I would have used a knife. After I cut the first guy, I doubt the second one would have raised his hands and said "I give up". No, I would have had to probably kill both of them because you don't get an instant stop with a knife.
