I'm assuming also the day that John Lennon was assassinated that it was illegal to conceal a gun in New York?

I am certain there was but that does not negate the fact that John Lennon was a totally innocent victim to this coward does it?


Am not going to getting into the gun banning as I have a CCW myself. But just as a home made bomb a gun allows you to so conveniently kill somebody without getting your clothes even getting rumpled.


Even if Lennon had a gun himself there would be nothing he could have done with it to save himself.


The bigger question is why do we even offer parole to this lowest form of maggots? Of course am certain the killer Chapman has found god as that was part of the reason he was motivated to kill Lennon.


Chapman still gets to have conjugal visits with his wife. That is the same wife who knew of his plans to kill Lennon and said nothing.


I don't know what can be done to prevent killings like this. But I do think once you commit such a killing you should be punished as hard as possible. And that would mean forget about wifey coming to make you happy.

Unfortunately, I dont think anyone like this can be stopped unless they are displaying some kind of indication they intend to harm others....and even then, some get past law enforcement and the judiciary.
 
I remember the day John Lennon was murdered by a "law abiding" citizen who needed his guns for self defense.
 
If only those people around Chapman had enough character to stand up and say something before he murdered John music would be in a better place. Unfortunately too many people stand by and allow these events to happen instead of being responsible and preventing them.

why are you lying. That is not an accurate description of a murderer. He violated several new york state and NY City laws before he even shot Lennon.

Exactly zero people have been killed by guns since John Lennon was shot, exactly zero people had been killed by guns before John Lennon was shot, and exactly zero people have been killed by guns ever, including John Lennon. People might've been killed by other people who were using guns to do the killing but never has a person ever been killed by a gun.

do you mean to tell me that guns don't fly around on their own volition and kill people? I guess the next thing you're going to say is Yoko Ono is a screeching irrelevant hag whose only big accomplishment was marrying John Lennon before he died and she's been coasting on that since?

Yes that is Ono's only big accomplishment although its was Lennon's mistake to marry her.

Actually he was and is far more popular than Jesus.

Imagine the riot that would have ensued had someone nailed Lennon to a cross...

I'm not sure that what Chapman did was the worst thing that could have happened to him. 'Imagine' a life with that.....

You're right, about not becoming talented or famous just because you marry somebody who is, except for the fame that you get from being a famous person's spouse. As for Lennon loving her, according to their son Julian, the peace and love that Lennon preached and sang so much about apparently he didn't display it with his family.
