2/3s, so about a million. Another million would have committed suicide by other methods. Of course, the Lefties don't give a damn about them.
 
Definitely a coming of age moment for me. Wasn’t even a Beatles fan before then. But, we (gf and I) started listening to their later stuff after that—cassette tapes in a Chevy.

Ok, that you did , my bad. I thought at first you were using Jesus as an exclamation.

But I beg to differ with your choice. Many people claim to be "Christians" but I think they would be hard to come up with 5 statements by Jesus. But still say they could quickly name 5 John Lennon songs and probably sing a few phrases.

Even lip-service Christians can come up with a lot of Jesus quotes or parables:
....Cast the first stone.
Do unto others....
The Meek shall inherit the Earth
Judge not...
Forgive them....

Those are five that immediately come to my mind and I'm both tired and have a couple of drinks in me. :)

The RWers place too much political emphasis on Evangelism and the Democrats none at all, but that doesn't mean all Republicans are Evangelistas or that none of the Democrats are Christians as the link proved.

Then why post ?

It is relevent because he was a "law abiding" citizen one day and a murderer the next.

He probably justified his guns for the same "self defense" reasons as you do now and swore by the 2nd amendment.

Everyone should care because a man with a gun is FAR deadlier than a man without one, and ANYONE can decide to use their "self defense" tool to commit murder, at any time.


Oh but it won't happen to you......
