It wasnt a problem in the UK before either :doh

Those countries chose to over-react, I dont see any value in acting stupidly just because other countries did.

And there are plenty of videos out there clearly demonstrating how easy it is to conceal a shotgun very well.

I think you've gone into defensive mode just because you've not so much dropped the ball but had it ripped from your grasp in a fumble and the opposition has run it back for the winning score....

No, with regard to the tired old three excuses of gun owners
I am tempted to echo the comment made by the Duke of Wellington in June 1815 "they came on in the same old way, and we stopped them in the same old way"
