10 yr old shot two weeks after 2 yr old

it will never stop. we're swimming in guns. more guns than people.
Somewhere along the order of 120 million gun owners. Somehwere around 400 million firearms owned legally. And yet, homicide rates continue to drop and the perpetrators are invariably NOT law abiding citizens that have purchased the guns through legal channels.

Gosh...a thinking man would see the facts and realize...the problem ISNT guns.

And gun deaths ate the highest in any first world nation

Cars are not intended for killing. Guns are. You may want to read about it.
If cars are "intended for killing" or not it is still a car death so what is the difference? If some dumb ass law is made for guns like you want than that sets a precedent for a lot of things.

You’re making the assumption that the gun banning narrative is “thinking”.

There is no reasonable reason to even entertain any kind of ban on firearms. The numbers simply don’t lie along with the anecdotal data.

Restricting magazine size, cosmetics, etc is just a way to “get the camels nose under the tent”.

Laws already exist on illegal use and possession of firearms. Enforce those laws with hefty penalties.

This isn’t kindergarten, you don’t punish the whole class for the bad acts of a small few.

Lastly, the beautiful thing about rights is that you don’t owe anyone nor can anyone demand an explanation for how you exercise that right. However if you are going to strip someone of their rights you better have more than “I don’t like it” as a reason.

Wow.. holy crap batman.. you must be right!

So when do you think the mass migration from the US to Venezuala, and Mexico.. or better yet SYRIA and AFGHANISTAN is going to begin..

You know. because according to "Gun violence" statistics and the way you interpret them.. SYRIA is safer than the US.

Seriously man.. why doesn't it give you pause when you use a statistic and you think it means that Syria is safer than the US?

Do you really think you are safer in Syria.. than the US?
Maybe Mexico will build the wall too keep us gun toting violent rooten tooten shooten anything that moves out.

You said first world nations. Why must you move those already crooked goalposts? Ah, because your assertion was asinine.

So, new challenge. Show us the long lines of people trying to get here from Norway, Germany, Sweden, France, Australia....
There's not no long line guns or not. However South of the border there's a very, very long line. And they want across legal or not. Mostly not.

What about people's right to own a lethal weapon or several weapons ? Plus ammunition...a lot of ammunition...and spare magazines...
You probably consider anything over 40 rounds "a lot of ammunition" but please do humor us,also with the spare magazines if you would. Sh*t I hate playing catch up.

You're confusing a right and an ability.
1st:Are we too consider free speech a right?(and don't give me the right to yell fire in a crowed theater).Or how about the right to assembly or freedom of the press?
4th: Are we to consider that we are secure in our persons, houses, papers, and effects against unreasonable searches and seizures a right?
5th:Are we too consider it's our right not to bear witness against our-self? Are we to consider it's our right to be tried by a jury according too due process(which lately is becoming questionable)
I name off these three in particular. Because I bet even the most ardent anti gunner would agree they are rights.
2nd: What oh what happened here that these same ardent anti gunners mentioned above consider it NOT a right? It seems to be the proverbial redheaded stepchild.

And the guns come from Indiana
If it makes you feel good. However the same could apply to Oregon with guns coming from Idaho and Kalistan,WA. but the thing is we don't have a problem like our fearless leader Brown suggests even with any extra guns from outta state.

How can owning something manufactured from steel be a "natural right"? :doh

The bold is naive to say the least.
Don't count on it. I know plenty that wouldn't. Same with the military. Whoever you listen too over sold you.

I'm sure all the men, women and children who are gunned down (or just wounded for that matter) appreciate your status.

Come on vegas if your going to reply too a post at least reply too what the post is about rather then something off the wall. Off the wall is OK once in a while but all the time?

Its what you do all the time

And there will only be even more guns in the future. You can't get toothpaste back in the tube.

Think about it. We have enough guns for every man, woman and child in our country.

But to be safe they want every 18yo college student and every 80yo grandma to be armed.

These people are idiots.

Time for federal gun control

I think everyone does now and again. But more than two or three (maybe slightly exaggerated but not much) words and a lol.

Its who you are

Hypothetically less pretend all guns go poof and all the anti gun people are very happy.:2grouphug. So do the same kinds of killings still happen or do they some how stop? So kid goes to school and for whatever reason has gone off the deep end and pulls a razor sharp machete and has at it. Who stops him? It won't be a cop or security guard with a gun (see poof)and chances are he won't kill himself.

The problem is not guns it's the person shooting the gun.

Used properly, the planes were made to fly, not crash.

They did fly. Unfortunately, a PILOT flew them into a building. They WERE made to fly, and they flew as intended. But a HUMAN pointed them in the wrong direction.
