...you're More Likely to Shoot a Loved One

So if guns were banned/confiscated in the USA more people attempting suicide would survive.

I'd say that is a logical conclusion, because the great majority of suicide attempt survivors do not eventually commit suicide. However, there is next to zero chance of such a law being enacted.

It would take a repeal of the 2nd Amendment - which at the moment is unlikely at best.

But in 1776, did anyone think slavery would soon be banned in the USA ?

If blacks were armed at the time, slavery never would have happened. The origin of gun control laws at the state level were created by people like yourself and were specifically designed to keep black people disarmed.

Yeah, and if Native-Americans had a modern military-industrial complex, may the USA wouldn't have expanded across the great plains.

This is what happened when Africans tried to stand up to an imperial power:

by the time blacks were imported to the colonies, they had been defeated and disarmed by other Africans who then sold them to arab or euro slave traders. If black Africa had not been the site of constant tribal warfare, a few musket totingEuropeans couldn't have enslaved hundreds of thousands of Africans by themselves

Japanese Americans were armed yet we rounded them up and put them in concentration camps
