Accountability

Automatic registration of weapon upon purchase
Failure to register your existing weapon = loss of weapon.
Failure to pass a gun safety course = loss of weapon or blocked access to buying said weapon
Failure to have a weapon owner list (history of owners for specific weapon) = loss of weapon
Misplacement or lack of knowledge of location of weapon upon re-registration = loss of weapon

That is a good idea too... gun safety course every five years... don't pass = loss of weapon

This is actual accountability and very reasonable. The problem is that gun nuts have been allowed unfettered access to killing devices with no accountability for far too long... they are now arrogant, hostile and defensive... a really bad combination for people of guns to have.

I won't do anything... but hopefully the law would say that you get a fine and failure to pay the fine would result in confiscation of your weapons.

Thats a problem. I throw fine notices into the trash. Who would do the confiscating and how? Especially if I am not in a cooperative mood. My arms are not easy to move when they are inactive. When they are active, lets not go there. They are without doubt at least a logistics nightmare anyway you look at it.

In the US-the word produce can mean to have one. A police officer noting that the suspect entered a bank and produced a gun has nothing to do with the mope actually making a firearm.

So a nice agent comes up to serve you a lawful warrant and you will refuse and escalate the situation until it becomes an armed confrontation where you will start shooting cops/FBI when they attempt to force the guns from you? What a cowboy!

Who said anything about shooting? They will leave of their own accord. Without my arms. Peacefully and willingly. In fact they will insist on leaving as fast as they can. Very sorry they met me let alone bothered me. There something in the primitive part of the human psyche that dislikes very much being eaten. Especially alive. If I need to use a firearm something went dreadfully wrong.

It took me to years to move my "arms" to the new place. Thats when everything was nice and cooperative. The logistics was to put it bluntly was a bitch, and thats what I do. Anybody taking my arms are gona have to be masochists or suicidal or both. My arms like their new home, they wont leave quietly.

Those are all great ideas. You should demand that your representatives in Congress introduce them as bills, and we'll see how long they stay in office.
