I get her sentiment. Totally.

"I have four children, I am 5-foot-0, 100 pounds, I cannot really defend myself with a fist. ... I want to know how you're going to legislate that because a criminal breaks the law, so all you're going to do is restrict law-abiding citizens, like myself."

Woman confronts Beto on gun confiscation at town hall: '''I'''m here to say, hell no you'''re not''' | Fox News

But, we are not really talking about her. Now, are we? If it was only 5' women who carried, we'd all be fine. But, 6' men are the primary weapon holders in America. And, it's they who most often use them illegally.

In fact, it's so bad, I am all in favor of sexual discrimination when it comes to gun ownership.

You can ban men from using ladders as well. Three times the deaths of the classic mass shootings per year. Most of the "mass shooting" deaths are gang/drug and murder/suicide. The 100 or so victims of the AR15 style shooters killing strangers are 1/3 of fatal ladder falls. If 100 people died due to falling trees every year ... Oh! Wait! They do.

Sexual discrimination is a gateway drug to racial discrimination. One can only imagine what you're really thinking right now.

Well, to be fair, men are far more prone to ladder accidents. I mean, I've never seen a woman try this -

but I can totally envision guys doing it.

2 commercial divers + 1 foreman + 1 crane + 1 2000 lb. sandbag + 1 deadline to remove portable coffer dam tarps = We're not doing that again!

Are men killing other men with ladders? Please cite where, when and how many.

Would you allow a 5’ male to carry a gun? What about a man in a wheelchair would he be allowed to carry a gun? Or is sex the determining factor in your eyes.

Sex. Men are hot heads with issues. 90% of all homicide victims would agree...if they still could.

Does your support for sexual discrimination only apply to to the second amendment or are there others?

Not in recent years. The Obama administration saw a huge rise in women gun owners.

Might I ask, are you male or female?

Anyway, if you think only women should be able to get guns, that's reverse discrimination.

So are you male or female? Or are you going to dodge the question?

Why would you even ask it? The person in the op is female and that is the topic. Stick to discussing it. Not me.

I just want to see if you betray your own gender.

You got your 90% confused ,isn't it supposed to be 90% of Americans are in favor of UBCs OR SOME SUCH? Or is 90% just a default number for everything. Such as I suspect this is without anything to back it up.At all.

If he is a male, he would know about the criminality of males more than any woman.

Betray? In a heartbeat. Just like at one time he/she (pretty sure he but besides the point) said they had guns in each room of the house. Out in the country if that rings any bells Calamity. Thing is he/she/it claimed to be a gun owner and then betrayed us,so why not betray whatever gender they are.

Whats the big deal? Why not just answer the question.

Well yes, we are talking about her. And anyone who feels they need a gun to defend themselves. Or to hunt, entertain themselves, collect, invest. Everyone has a right to bear arms peacefully. Thus we are talking about her.

The problem is we shouldnt even be talking about guns.

My 5ft wife would far more likely to shoot you in a confrontation than myself who is an experienced combat grunt based on experience, training and skills. I am no danger to any law abiding person, but for a criminal I am their worst nightmare. Reminder the Vast Majority of those that use a firearm illegally are criminals beforehand. You should be glad there are citizens out there that can and would protect your loved ones if a monster showed up to harm them, and do it no matter the cost to us. Stop thinking of your fellow citizens as the enemy because we own firearms, it is not us that you need to fear. My 2 cents.....

Men are 6x more likely to kill by gun than women. This is a consistent stat, year after year. I don’t much care what you or your wife do. It’s not relevant to fact.

I think you should do some research on gun ownership; the number of women gun owners is large and growing. And a 6' man without a gun isn't going to have much luck against a 5'6" man with a gun. We're not all 6'.
