People have died due to the ACA. The HMO's decide whether someone gets care or not. And, the deductibles are so high that many people have waited too long to see a doctor about something serious like signs of cancer or heart disease. Many have stopped using their medicines. It would have been worse except for the Republicans pointing out death panel trouble. But, what does that have to do with gun control and what I posted? History repeats itself because people don't think it will happen to them. Nonsense! And, Bill Ayers is still alive and teaching marxism and his ideas of eliminating people like was stated by the Weather Underground Mole. We heard Bernie Sanders say billions of people need to be eliminated, the old population control crap. Which is what climate change is actually all about.

We already have politicians drawing lines in the sand. Just like in 1861. Let's face it, rural America is where they have to come to seize the majority of firearms in this country. It will be a long day for the oppressors. Not sure how they will determine which houses to search out here. Guess they will just go door to door with search warrants. I hope we don't go there.. I really do

Seriously, your revisionist history is really repulsive to those whose family went through all of those things. Yes, many of the uprisings happened because of the confiscation attempts. But, the killings didn't end when the weapons were taken away. And, in Germany, they most certainly were taken. Right from the homes of Jews and others who objected. How else do you really think German Nazis were able to herd 6 million to their deaths? Get real.

Yes, I get that to someone who is desperate to try and exploit the murder of millions of people to cling to an inanimate object and shriek about the democrats, facing reality would be “offensive”.

No, the uprisings were not due to “gun control”. The uprisings in the ghettos were due to poor living conditions, routine abuse, deportations, patriotism, etc. The obsessive love affair with the gun is pretty much an American phenomena which has really picked up steam in recent years.

They were “able to heard six million people to their deaths” because no one believed that it could really happen until it was too late. Armed resistance was a fundamental failure.

Many people drink and drive without getting into an accident and killing someone. But we know that drinking and driving is a really bad idea even it doesn't always result in a deadly accident.

In a similar way, a disarmed populace doesn't necessarily mean the state will commit genocide, but it has many times in the past.

In both cases, we're better off safe than sorry. Don't drink and drive, and don't give up your guns.

Only if one is actively looking for something to cry about. There is also the fact that unlike the African Americans who have been described as “thugs” these people in the rural areas have been actively threatening to murder members of law enforcement over a rather dumb line of reasoning, and are actively using exploitive and fraudulent arguments—like the one in the OP—to justify it.
