It's not just about guns, that's only one issue. The right under trump has become downright cruel on many issues and let's not forget all the environmental rollbacks to help the major polluters pollute. I'm sure that's for the benefit of the country. After all who doesn't want dirty air and water?
Obama kept gun sale stores in business while sales have fallen off under Trump. Obviously, the best solution is to keep Trump in office, therefore, less guns will be sold. Isn't that what you want?
President Bush (the first one) had no problem banning assault rifles... You seeing a pattern here...
What does it matter? Dead is dead, and the gun is the most commonly used and most efficient deadly weapon. America is suffering an epidemic and all I hear is whining; 'but the Constitution...'

Thanks Beto for admitting that you want to take everyone's guns away.

Yep, that is a laugh!(LOL)
Actually, the answer is to not let dangerous people run around loose. In most all cases, these people have been arrested numerous times or have had enough warning flags that they could be arrested. In fact, we have done exactly that several times is the last few months, preventing several mass murders.
It has been an epidemic since records began in the 1920s. The Constitution has many fine and laudable contents, but relying on a completely anachronistic 'right' (2nd Amendment), which has no relevance in 2019 as a touchstone, and only works in the context of the far off days of parity in arms between government and citizenry. That was over 200 years ago when each 'side' had access to muzzle loaders and not much else.
Today the citizens have the equivalent of pop-guns against hugely more powerful, better trained, better equipped and motivated government forces. The 2nd. is pointless.

But feel free to keep shooting yourselves; it's fun to watch the 'thoughts and prayers' crap after every predictable shooting.

Dead from gunshot is just as dead. Argue dot connection as much as you want. Americans shoot themselves with enthusiasm more than any other advanced nation. What a badge of honour to wear with pride.
Psst.....
We NOT Australia.
Just in case you didn't know(wink)
Let's just say, for the sake of argument, that you have become dictator of the US. What is it you want to do regarding guns?
So during this so called ban... did at any point was their confiscation?
And... I thought it was Clinton?
Seems to work in every other advanced nation with stringent firearms legislation, yet America seems uniquely impotent and/or unwilling to address what is clearly an enormous problem.
I already said confiscation is stupid... Just make them worthless by restricting ammunition...
Clinton signed the Assault Weapons Ban... The ban on importation of assault rifles was ORDERED by President George H.W. Bush in 1989.
Import ban on semiautomatic weapons expanded - UPI Archives
the administration temporarily banned
How many well-regulated militias are you aware of?
What does it have to do with Trump? Has he managed to implement any of the firearm legislation he promised after El Paso? Of course not; weasel words, platitudes and lies is what you got.
Here’s What Trump Promised—And Backed Away From—On Gun Control

Hi! And thank you for taking time to reply. Directing your attention to the first two sentences in your statement quoted above, I note for your consideration that over 60% of gun deaths in the United States of America are suicides.
Regards.
So what? Are you not humans?
