Progressive Democrats are almost always be self contradictory in their claims - Joe Biden's claim of not accepting facts, only accepting what you want to be true. On the one hand you will portray these kids as little children to feel so sorry for - while at the same time declaring they are politically brilliant, smarter than adults, and definitely will be good voters. That all, of course, is self contradictory.


When I am agreeable to high school kids making laws or seeing them as experts on anything about government, rights or realities of life is exactly NEVER.

This is probably coming from a guy who thinks its racist to make voters show an ID to vote. Crazy people should not vote nor have children either. If we cut down on those two things, your party would lose far more elections.

Can you imagine if during the AIDS crisis, someone proposed a law that gay men had to wait ten days before engaging in anal sex and they would have to meet with the CDC to be tested to make sure they weren't HIV+ and they would have to repeat that examination at least yearly?

It's strange and makes no sense to change a position on anything based solely on the words/actions of extremists. Doesn't matter what side you sit on.

Btw, did you sleep through the aftermath of Sandy Hook?

It takes a special kind of evil to deliberately create and propagate false narratives about the Sandy Hook shooting and its victims, which also resulted in victims families being harassed and abused. It doesn't get any more repulsive than that. Jones and his supporters, are beyond vile. Pond slime has more worth. Needs to be said.

Like it or not, today's generation of school shooting victims (whether directly or indirectly affected) are going to be tomorrow's law makers. Sensible folks, who don't hold extreme views and who are prepared to listen from both sides needs to get together and try and find some common ground going forward.

No mainstream pro-rights advocacy group has any use for the nutcases who claim SandyHook was a hoax. . Sadly there is not much common ground between those of us who support the second amendment and those who wish to use tragedies as tools to advance their goals of banning legal gun ownership

Crimes including violent crimes are as high or higher in schools than in the general public. But they don't want police in schools. Twice as many people will be murdered by unarmed attacks than by all forms of rifles - including ARs and AKs - COMBINED. But they don't care? They don't care about kids raped in school? No. It is that they are so afraid they literally can not face reality.

Their entire motivation - other than the all-controlling peer pressure to be sheep following a leader - is fear driven.

Folks on both sides of the debate do use tragedies to push their agendas. It's repulsive. Let's not pretend your side is immune from it. There were threads here after Parkland where you actually had posters bragging that donations to NRA had tripled after the Parkland shooting and that there had been a surge in memberships.

Please keep it up. You are the greatest gun control advocate on here. When people read from you and others how much you hate these children by referring to them as cowards and enemies you reveal the true evil of those who do not care that we have these mass shootings. As long as no one bleeds on your gun you ate fine with them happening everyday. Your plan going forward is absolutely clear.....do nothing. Why? Because there is no problem to you. Fill out a form?
