Nearly 1.25 million people die in road crashes each year, on average 3,287 deaths a day. An additional 20-50 million are injured or disabled. More than half of all road traffic deaths occur among young adults ages 15-44.
For the United States:
Over 37,000 people die in road crashes each year
An additional 2.35 million are injured or disabled
Over 1,600 children under 15 years of age die each year
Nearly 8,000 people are killed in crashes involving drivers ages 16-20
Road crashes cost the U.S. $230.6 billion per year, or an average of $820 per person
Road Safety Facts — Association for Safe International Road Travel

Tens of thousands of deaths, thousands of children killed, over 2 million injured or disabled, costing hundreds of billions of dollars - EVERY YEAR!!!

Do any of you doubt there are thousands, tens of thousands, probably hundreds of thousands of totally incompetent drivers out there. Licensing them, testing their driving, licensing and inspecting their cars, and regulating cars for safety - and still massive death counts, injury counts and economic lose anyway.

How many people each year are killed or injured by concealed carry firearms and what are the costs of CCWers? Virtually none.

So why isn't the demand to reduce the speed limit to 25 mph? There is no constitutional right to drive a car. 25 mph will get you where you are going - it would just take a few more minutes. For distance you could fly, take a bus - or take your time.

Why is saving 30 minutes a day MORE important to you than the truly massive death and injury carnage even overwhelming exceeding war deaths - particularly of children and young people - while you demand banning Conceal Carry of a firearm - that statistically is almost devoid of any injuries and deaths - and it is known the mere appearance of a firearm deters tens of thousands - if not more - felony crimes and assaults per year?

For those of you who want conceal carry banned, how do you justify this unless you also support reducing the speed limit to 25 mph - which would save MANY, MANY times more lives and prevent overwhelmingly more injuries, not even counting the massive annual economic costs?

Do your REALLY care about saving lives - or just fear and/or hate guns and want to force everyone else to live to your fear and/or hate?
Then

because saving lives (other than those of criminals) is not what motivates the leaders and the avid advocates from more anti gun laws

Joko, of all the questions you've asked, this has to be one of your stupidest ones yet.

I'll let you think about why. :) I'll give you a hint: It has nothing to do with whether or not gun safety laws are effective.

Complete and total lie

Complete and total lie

Here is the proof

In 1986, there had been ZERO cases of legally owned machine guns in private hands being used in any murder. Democrats-spiteful that the M-V FAOPA was going to pass, conspired to attach a poison pill to the bill that was later interpreted to prevent the sale of any machine gun made after May 19, 1986 to private citizens.

Registration-Criminals cannot even be arrested or charged for failing to register firearms in their possession.

Magazine Limits-criminals cannot own any firearms-magazine limits only restrict what lawful citizens can own

etc etc etc

As expected you are addressing a strawman. :) You falsely claimed that the motivation for gun safety laws is not saving lives, didn't you?

Now are you ready to retract your lie? I'm not betting on it.

The motivation for banning firearms is not saving lives. They never propose legislation that would save lives and when legal measures can be taken that will save lives (like stop and frisk) gun banners oppose them.

If saving lives were what motivated the leaders of the gun ban movement-why are they pushing laws that clearly have no utility in saving lives?

Oh look, it's the "when will you stop beating your wife?" question.

You did not address what's wrong with the OP, but I didn't expect you to do that either.

That isn't the point-the point is-the reason why gun banners don't push for actions that will save far more lives than gun bans, is because saving lives is not the main motivation behind gun bans

Why do you like to lie?

to prove he lied, you have to prove the following

1) he said something that he knows to be untrue

or

2) he said something he has no reasonable belief is true

I believe that the leaders of the anti gun movement are not motivated by a desire to save innocent lives

You have not proven he has lied

So you ask for evidence demanding that one person has lied while lying yourself.

Your double standard is noted. :)

what have I said that you can prove I know is not truthful

The moon is made of Swiss cheese.

You cannot disprove that statement. :)

Yes I can because there is credible evidence-brought back by men such as Neil Armstrong that says otherwise and you have no reasonable belief that your statement is correct. I truly believe that most gun banners are motivated by a political agenda and not by a real desire to save lives. I also note that since almost every single gun banner is a left wing activist, that bolsters my reasonable belief that gun control is a political weapon

As I said, it isn't about "safety" or lives at all. It is about hating and fearing guns - no matter what the result.

Says the person who has openly feared becoming an ethnic minority. People who want unlimited gun liberties want power for whites as they fade into the night.

...

See how it sounds when you make a deliberately provocative statement? Check yourself. :)

In fact, they propose and pass legislation, laws and regulations at the local state and federal level that costs lives.

Most notable are the "gun free zone" signs - literally advertising for mass murdering shooters - assuring them the government is doing everything possible to protect them - while criminalizing anyone even possibly being about to stop them.

FACT QUESTION: Were there more school shooting BEFORE or AFTER the promotional "Free Child Killing Zone" signs went up everywhere?

Complete and total lie

No it's not. If they cared about saving lives they would focus on areas where gun violence is most prevalent - the inner cities. But focusing on the inner cities would be racist, so instead all they talk about is mass shootings, which are about 1% of all gun homicides.

That would cripple the world's largest economy and is incredibly dumb

Those signs are up in every first world country in the world.

You really only listen to yourself, don't you? I find your constant racist messages a study in ignorance. My ethnicity became a "minority" in this country long, long ago by murder by people exactly like you. Yes, people exactly like you demanded my people be disarmed totally. Like your ancestors, you still do. You and you white Democrats want the government to be able to go back to being about to defenselessly murder my people again. The number of murders and deaths caused by the Democratic Party is into the millions.

YOU WHITE DEMOCRATS have ALWAYS done everything possible to disarm blacks. Originally, white Democrats made it a death penalty offense for a black person to even touch a gun or any other weapon. You also want a black man with a gun to be imprisoned, denied the right to vote, denied all firearm rights, and denied most professional employment. ANYTHING to keep blacks defenseless and poor. That is the entire history of the Democratic Party to this day.

The passage of the 1986 gun ban was EXACTLY because black leaders were calling upon blacks to arm themselves. This HORRIFIED many white people, particularly white Democrats. From the origins of the Democratic Party to now, disarming black people has been a core of the motivation for gun control.
