I know, right? Interesting that the most extreme among us are not bothered by this. I suspect, however they're not representative of the majority of the NRA membership who are honest, sensible people.

Don't know why you're whining ... LaPierre's compensation in 2017 put him only in 9th place.

I'm not whining. I'm not an NRA member. I'm just pointing out that while the staff in the NRA office now have to pay for and bring in their own coffee, LaPierre and his wife are flown around on private jets getting all expense paid vacations on the NRA's dime and colluding with Russia.

The wife brought her own hair and makeup stylist, paid her a salary of course to fly in their private jet and had her own suite in the Four Seasons hotel in Budapest.

The National Rifle Association has experienced another in a long line of embarrassments after two more board members announced they are jumping ship from the gun group.

Richard Childress, a NASCAR team owner and the NRA’s first vice president, announced his resignation from the board of directors in a letter Monday, Newsweek reported. And country singer Craig Morgan resigned from the board on Tuesday, CNN reports. Six board members in total have now resigned this year. David Lehman, the deputy executive director for the NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action, is also departing.

You realize that wasn't the NRA that was paying for that right? It was the AD agency that was basically schmoozing Lapierre to keep the ad contract with the NRA.


You guys spout off about the NRA and you don't have a clue about it. You should actually read the article that you presented.

So, board members aren't resigning right and left and the association isn't strapped for funds?
