All this gun control talk---------------but

You want to live under British law? Then you know where the hell you can go to be happy for yourself.

I believe he claims he originally is from Britain.

They have none. In fact, they demand that mass shooting zones be created all over the country - certainly all schools - and then demand that it be a criminal offense for anyone to be able to defend the people and children - with most Democrats demanding even banning police for school to be able to prevent, deter or stop a mass shooter. Many are open in claiming police are more likely to shoot school children than mass murderers - and definitely claim teachers more likely will shoot children than mass murderers.

It isn't just they have no plan. Everything they want encourages and protects mass shooters.

Hannity has it right. Armed guards on every floor of every school, in every shopping center, ladies rooms, mens rooms, every crossing guard carries an AR-15, and let’s not forget elevator operators. Freedom.

Image you heard someone say they got a gun and are going to shoot up someplace
^^Not remotely a “red flag law” scenario.^^

Red Flag laws defined

"Red flag" laws allow courts to issue orders to temporarily confiscate the firearms of individuals deemed to be a risk to others or themselves.

Depending on the state, ERPO (Extreme Risk Protection Orders) laws allow family members and law enforcement to ask a state court judge to issue an order that confiscates the guns of an individual who they believe poses a threat to their safety. ERPO petitioners must present evidence to the court on why the individual poses a threat to others, as well as to himself or herself.

So you're saying the police wouldn't go to court and file the paperwork? Really? Again it depends on the state but in some states police or family members to petition a state court to order the temporary removal of firearms. The police and judges are going to cover their butts (CTA) the last thing the police or a judge wants is someone reporting it. They don't want another Nikolas Cruz, where people after the fact say, we called the police and the police did nothing, or the judge did nothing. So you can't say it not remotely a "red flag law" scenario, especially after the Cruz incident. They aren't going to take that chance.

I’m saying that you are confusing/conflating two different situations that require different responses.

If you overhear a stranger say that he/she is going to shoot a bunch of people, and call 911 to report it, the police are not going to go to court to file any petition (a ludicrous idea), they will immediately go to where that person is and confront them.
