What is so sad is this information is so easy to find, but the right is so fearful and suspicious of everything outside the Fox News bubble, they dont care venture outside of it. Everything else is evil!

Ah, I forgot what Graham said 4 years ago.

I guess he's had a change of heart.

I do believe CNN and the rest of the liberal media are race baiting bigots feeding a gullible intellectually vacant audience in a desperate attempt to keep their doors open.

Given their continued slide into ratings obscurity, it would appear I'm not alone in that conclusion.

They want law enforcement to keep guns so they have the means to combat those who break the law. Their lives have been made difficult because of the political climate so they have asked for law enforcement to provide additional security.

This sort of dehumanizing rhetoric has found a fertile breeding ground among some groups of the far right that have in essence become death squads hell bent on threatening sitting US congresswomen daily.

The president and his entire base are culpable in defending this criminal behavior, and yet, here you guys sit, laughing about "the squad" needing additional protection from the criminal, lunatic, insane fringe of the republican party.

That depends, have you personally received a credible death threat? That is usually how that works, take the death threat to the police they determine if it is credible then they provide you with a police escort until the threat is handled.

My point is it is HYPOCRITICAL for POLITICIANS who want to BAN honest people from owning many types of guns, from wanting to be protected by armed guards bearing the VERY FIREARMS that these politicians want to prevent others from owning.

that almost never happens. And if the police do nothing and you are killed, your estate has no legal recourse against the police.

I am not going to go back and rehash all the times Trump made comments about punching people, shooting them, etc. Firstly you wouldn't admit it and secondly it's all over the web so anyone can find it.

Additionally, I will brook absolutely ZERO claims that this doesn't prove what Trump says causes violence. You're wrong and historical data PROVES beyond a shadow of a doubt that propaganda can incite violence.

Trump, calling people names, removes the human and replaces it with a name. It's fact, that for some people, this is good enough to justify their use of violence. Fact. Irrefutable fact. The only issue here is you or anyone else who supports DJT in accepting facts. This is one of the biggest issues I have with Trump supporters. They outright ignore facts.

Are the people who decide to act on these impulses primarily to blame? Yes, they are. But, DJT is -also- culpable for giving these feelings fertile ground to proliferate; when you claim you'll pay someone's defense bills, for example.

It depends on who the threat is from I think, if it is someone they are looking for, or if you are a witness. Then you might. But you are correct it is generally only provided for people who have power. There are exceptions I am sure. But that is what the police are there for.

Do those links prove that Trump's rhetoric encourages bad behavior? I don't think so.

That first article was published in the summer of 2015 and a quick skim didn't find any reference to Trump. The second article was an anti-Trump opinion piece that referenced an article published in 1975. Sorry, but that's not proof of anything. And it doesn't matter if you won't brook it. Get over it. Give me proof.

btw, raising the question of whether the Squad's own rhetoric could be generating their death threats might be inconvenient or uncomfortable to you, but it certainly is on-topic. Heck, that bunch is no stranger to the use of calling people names, either.
