The debate over legalizing currently illegal drugs of course includes meth. It includes ALL drugs. Side stepping won't help you. It's clear there is a serious debate going on about ALL drugs. You might not like it, but that there is a debate going on is very clear. And that was the point you denied; that a debate even exists. It obviously does exist. Glad I could clear that up for you. I wouldn't want you to look stupid or anything.

So you finally acknowledge that the drug debate does exist. Well, that's some progress, at least. Now, whether it's a good idea to legalize drugs is a different discussion. I can see both sides. At the least I'm open minded about the issue. Because both sides make some good points.

Straw man tactics don't work with me. I said there is an honest debate over legalizing drugs, and there is. I said there is an honest debate over gun control, and there is. You're the one insisting there is a debate over Bigfoot and the moon landings. You brought that up, not me. Looks like you're the one caught up in conspiracy theories. All debates are not equal in value. But keep digging that hole.

Straw man again. I never said any candidate was running to legalize meth. I said there is a debate over whether to legalize currently illegal drugs. You contend there is no debate over gun control or legalizing drugs. That's a very foolish position. Actually, funny if it wasn't so pathetic and sad.

Sorry buddy you claim gun laws are pointless because guns are made at home and I point out meth is made at home too. You get to legalizing meth and then get back to me on gun laws. Lol

The logical extension of the argument would be - if somebody starts manufacturing their own grenade launchers at home, then the government might as well make them legal.

It's best to average over a number of years, to get the most representative reductions. Similar efforts can be done with 5-year averages.

Murder Rate Average of 2014-2016: Connecticut: 95, United States: 15,820

Connecticut's average 2015 murder rate is 55% of the average 1995 totals.
United States average 2015 murder rate is 73% of the average 1995 totals.
