N.R.A. Shuts Down Production of NRATV

I'm going to miss Oliver North attempting to look dignified.

Goofy Bernie is a pimp-I trust him even less than Trump on gun issues. I don't trust Trump on gun issues-but I did Trust Hillary. I trusted hillary to try to ban guns as she promised.

And I trusted that Hillary AND all her supporters would have FAILED in dramatic fashion no matter how hard she tried.
(That's because Democrat and other liberal gun owners would have made sure she failed - you know, the people you like to ignore?)
You seem all over the road on this as usual. In this thread you say you don't trust Trump on gun issues but this morning you just said that you didn't think Trump was a dictator in the making because he "wouldn't disarm America".

Nice meme of Trump's fondest wish, to be a dictator.

If that were true, Trump would be trying to disarm America

WHICH IS IT??

Actually, it's people with guns who delude themselves into thinking they are safer.

Living in a house with a gun increases your odds of death

Just so you know... Your article doesn't actually say that. In fact.. most of the article is another example of faulty use of statistics to sell a narrative.. that's not actually supported.

for example.. the research did not show that children are more likely to be in accidents or die.. it said that they are more likely to have an accident with a gun. Well of course.. houses with guns in them.. are more likely to have gun accidents than ones that don't.

But since gun accidents are so low compared to other forms of accident and injury.. statistically having a gun in the house does not increase the likelihood of an accidental death.

And sure.. since firearms are a popular way for people to commit suicide.. people that desire to commit suicide.. are more likely to obtain a firearm to do it. this in no way means that having a firearm makes you more likely to commit suicide.

Which by the way is proven by the fact that Japan has a much higher rate of suicide.. but a much lower rate of firearms ownership.

The strident NRA rolled over on the bump stock BS. I am a life member-I was a candidate for the 80 and 88 shooting teams and bought the NRA membership for that. But I give money now to the SAF and CCKBA.

The bump stock is a minor corporation, I doubt it gave enough protection money to Wayne for 'lobbying'....

This does prove the NRA is losing political clout, isn't much of a factor in electing anyone, is more like a minor player trying to photobomb other's success... :doh

Sound like after hundreds of posts shouting the praises of the NRA you are deserting that ship....

Reminds me of an old saying.... :peace

Honest posters will recall that I criticized Wayne LaPierre for years and noted that many gun rights advocates find the NRA too willing to compromise. 14 years of such posts

The bump stock folks could not afford to pay Wayne for "protection" so they had to go down

An honest poster would admit they try to paint the picture they want others to believe (about hating NRA supporters for 'helping' elect tRump) rather than not agree with their rabid position on firearm regulations.

An honest poster would admit the NRA first pretends to agree with sensible regulation and then rant and fearmonger at any attempt to enact sensible regulation. It is difficult to use the fingers of one hand to count the times the NRA has been 'too willing'....

real honesty would be you admitting that you whine about the NRA because they oppose the clowns you want in office. Real honesty would be admitting that "sensible regulations" have nothing to do with what Democrats are pushing for
