N.R.A. Shuts Down Production of NRATV

The gun hating lefties have been saying that for years. The more the bannerrhoids in the congress and state governments scream for stupid gun laws, the better the NRA does.

Yes, paranoid stupid people are easy to fool.

Yes, paranoid stupid people are easy to fool.

Paranoid stupid people are those who think gun control laws will make them safer.

Still mad that the NRA helped elect Trump? "ammosexuals"--and I was criticized for using the term "bannerrhoid" to depict anti gun politicians. Its funny that NRA haters think that people who like the shooting sports have some sort of a sexual fetish with firearms. It demonstrates how completely bankrupt and dishonest the anti gun movement is.

Now hold on a just a cotton picking minute there.
This is not about YOU or about other gun owners, (like you or like me) it's about the actual National Rifle Association.
They have crapped the bed and screwed the pooch and you know they have.

Maybe someday they will find their way, or maybe someday another robust organization will take their place.
But right now, we are witnessing the near collapse of the National Rifle Association, and they did it to themselves with no help from gun grabbers, or the left, or Trump haters, or anyone else outside of their circle.

I used to belong to the NRA so I am not talking out of my ass here. I had a membership, I read their publications, I followed their work and I even took some classes (albeit a long time ago) so it's not like I'm Dianne Feinstein.
They screwed themselves...and you know they did.

And it's not a good thing because a gun rights organization does need to exist, and it does need to be strong, and it does need to promote 2A rights, and it does need to do all of the things that the NRA used to do once upon a time.

And perhaps, just perhaps, it is not out of line to shoot slings and arrows at the current corrupt NRA leadership that CAUSED this self inflicted wound. They deserve what's being aimed at them because they've managed to do something NO ONE actually thought was possible.

Yeah, that's right, a lot of people have talked in the past of bringing down the NRA, but few ever thought it could actually happen, and even fewer ever thought they would do it to themselves.

The NRA appears to be suffering from a very toxic internal culture. It happens.

Then don't own one. I have yet to meet a pro rights advocate who says people like you-who are afraid of trusting themselves with firearms-should have to own them

Personal attack?

Can't refute the facts attack the poster. Eh?

Most of those saying that are people who are upset that the NRA was an effective force in helping Trump get elected. In Ohio, many political scientists, claimed the NRA's ads, kept Trump in the game, while his campaign was dicking around in the early stages.

How is that a personal attack-you clearly believe your environment is more dangerous if you own a gun. Then don't.

Uh, that's not exactly true.

Uh, that's not exactly true.

You are parsing things. The fact is-you believe that owning a gun makes you less safe

again-then don't own one. I believe in freedom. I wish you anti gun advocates did too

I posted a link showing that owning a gun makes a person less safe. You can refute it with some other citation, if possible.

Leave the personal out of the debate. I know some people lose their only weapon that way. But, thems the rules.

TD, I am saying it.
Okay?
An effective force in helping Trump get elected? Riddle me this, batman...if they were so effective in helping Trump get elected (and I'm sure that they did play some role) then explain why they're not being rescued right now.
Surely Trump could inspire some very conservative gun owning billionaires to triage the NRA, yell clear, apply the paddles and hit the button.

What's Foster Friess doing tonight?
Is he busy?

I think you're ignoring a major portion of what I just said earlier, like the fact that I stated that the collapse of the NRA is "not a good thing because a gun rights organization does need to exist, and it does need to be strong, and it does need to promote 2A rights, and it does need to do all of the things that the NRA used to do once upon a time."
Does that sound like someone who's pissed off that the NRA helped Trump get elected?

Sanders scores fairly high with gun people. Look at Vermont. Do you think Bernie is a gun grabber?
If it was clear as day that Sanders was going to be the next president do you think the NRA would work against him?

I think that the CURRENT NRA, which is meddling in all manner of crap which is not gun related - - WOULD work against him despite the fact that he scores well with gun owners on 2A issues.

So if anyone is annoyed over that, they probably have a good reason, if they are gun owners who like Bernie Sanders.

Goofy Bernie is a pimp-I trust him even less than Trump on gun issues. I don't trust Trump on gun issues-but I did Trust Hillary. I trusted hillary to try to ban guns as she promised.

This is what happens when you produce substandard propaganda. Perhaps Loesch can get a job working for Glenn Beck or something.

His empire is in tatters now...too much spending and lavish living.

Big bummer. There goes "Fun in the Kitchen with Mr. NRA."

I'm sorry but you are hilarious. You don't even trust another Republican.
You should join Larry Pratt's group, (GOA) forget the NRA.

I don't like Pratt-too long to explain why- I prefer Allan Gottlieb and the SAF and its CCKBA

I guess we're not talking about the collapse of the NRA anymore.
Good job, TD.

Funny how once the FBI began investigating the NRA’s foreign money laundering, their funds dried up. Makes you wonder how little money ever came from Americans.

Maybe they should have limited the investigation to one week.

To be fair, there isn't much more to say at the moment. We already know that the NRA management has been playing fast and loose, and it's catching up with them. We're just waiting for more shoes to drop.
