Republicans want proper id to vote but proper id to buy ammunition, hell no. How many folks have been kicked off voter rolls because their name doesn't EXACTLY match the way they originally signed?

So what's the gripe? Nobody touched anyone's guns?

And let's make sure to make abortion illegal nationwide if possible say the republicans.

Republicans can't stand what they dish out to others.

Lets turn that around honestly

Gun banners want people to be able to vote, without proving who they are, but demand gun owners fill out forms and wait to buy a gun. Democrats scream about CHOICE when it comes to abortion or whom someone can legally marry, but hate the concept of choice when it comes to self defense, or what happens to your wealth after you die

Confirming to the law is not harassment. You can still have 97 guns, you just have to line up and wait for ammo... I’ve told you for years that this was coming. Add to that the NRA’s collapse and the rest of might get some peace around here.

I'm sorry but right now, the folks on the right have no authority to talk about the constitution when this president is shredding it and the right cheers him on.

The worst interference with the Constitution in US HISTORY was what FDR did from 34-44. Nothing, I repeat NOTHING, compares to that level of crapping all over the bill of rights by any politician

And you and every other american should be thankful he was president at that time in our history. People who lean right tend to use the constitution as some kind of word from god when we all know when it comes to politics the constitution may as well be printed on toilet paper. So many folks on the right in my opinion are so busy waving the flag and the constitution they forgot how to be american. The false outrage is sickening.

Chicago has had that connection for decades between criminals and people that purchase weapons for them and they have never acted on it. 3 guesses why.

Do you REALLY believe that people that can establish a network of criminal activity and illegal importation that can bring in any type of illegal narcotic you can ever imagine will have a tough time adding ammunition to the list? And seriously...how much ammo do you think criminals are going through in say any given month?

This legislation is like all other ridiculous anti gun legislation...designed solely to target law abiding citizens...the people you have no reason to fear in the first ****ing place.

Sure. Roosevelt was smart enough to see which way the wind was blowing if we didn't get involved in the war and did things like lend lease with england even though most of the country wanted nothing to do with another european war. Imagine if we had done nothing, germany would have overrun england and if that had happened before japan attacked pearl harbor, which by the by I still say roosevelt baited japan into the attack, between japan and germany I'm not sure america could have stood up to two wars on each of our coasts.

Which part is bothering you? He did lots of things in that era.

The one (1) thing he did that bothered me were the concentration camps he sent all the Japanese-Americans off to. But it sounds like more might be bothering you.

that was one of many

the use of the commerce clause to give congress direct power over individual citizens acting in their own states was by far the most pernicious.

Kids are being shot to death in American schools but the right wing will refer to the holy scriptures of the second amendment which means they can not even fill.out a form that could save lives
