In Oklahoma, three teens broke into a house. The person inside the house got an AR-15 and shot the three intruders. The grandfather for one of the intruders argued it wasn't a fair fight. What do you think?

A 23-year-old Oklahoma man used a semi-automatic AR-15 rifle to shoot and kill three masked teenage intruders dressed in black who broke into his home Monday afternoon — an act authorities are investigating as self-defense. Zach Peters, the homeowner's son, fatally shot an 18-year-old man and two boys ranging between 16 and 17 around 12:30 p.m. The trio allegedly forced their way into the residence through a back door and were killed after exchanging words with Peters, who fired multiple shots.

Oklahoma's law states that a person who is attacked in their home "has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force, if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony
."

Every home should have one, if not a modern M4/M16.

When you break into someone's house "fair" goes out the window.

If fairness matters, then it's not a fight: It's a sport. If I didn't agree beforehand to participate, then it's not a sport.

No innocent lives were lost, can't get any more fair than that.

~ Well ... that's that. You bust into a stranger's house in Oklahoma dressed like a Ninja you leave laying down . I do feel for the homeowner who had to defend himself. I don't know exactly what type of rifle AR-15 is , but it obviously did what the owner intended - protect and defend life.
The statement the dope grandfather made is a testimony to the IQ level of these punks. SAD ...

Not a fair fight? How about this, lets say there's one bad guy against gazillion police officers who vastly outman and outgun him, is that a fair fight?

I think he's right, and that's exactly the way it should be.

Combat should be as fair as clubbing baby seals.

Anyone that wants a "fair fight" is a crappy tactician.

1. Surprise
2. Speed
3. Violence of action on the objective.

Unfortunately stories like this either get no mention at all or a token mention like this so the media can fraudulently claim they are unbiased. Because when a mass murderer uses a gun its on the news for weeks, they plaster the murderer's name and photo, tell us his hobbies, tell us where he bought his guns, how much ammo he had and give a soap box to anti-2nd amendment trash out there who want to use the tragedy to **** on the 2nd amendment and have stories of fake gun owners cutting off parts of a gun that can easily be replaced or turning it into the police(which seems like a recent thing after mass shootings).

Who cares if it was a fair fight. What matters is the guy had great aim.

That's perfectly Fair. If you don't want to get shot either by a 410 and AR15 or a bow and arrow don't break into somebody's house.

I disagree with the statement that every home should have an AR-15 I think a 12 gauge full of triple ought Buck is much more devastating. Doesn't have his much penetration and it's slow moving so as not to harm other people or objects inside the house
