Ban all guns? Hunting rifles included/ target pistols? In Canada?

Some guy? It was an independant member of the Canadian Parliament and the reply from his opposition admitted that they will do "anything" for the sake of protecting children, which is an admission. If people will admit to it, why does he need evidence?

Some guy is still some guy. He makes claims, with no evidence other than someone told him so. And saying something different is not saying the same thing, so no, there is no "admission".

lol...hoo boy. Ya got punked, friend. Canadians aren't going to stop hunting. That's like asking Americans to stop getting things wrong about Canada... :lol: If not because it's as ingrained in our national identity as shooting each other is in the states, than because the government simply makes too much money on the hunting industry to give it up.

And even if they did, the next government in would reverse it instantly - and make no mistake, a move like this would cost them the election. Which they know.

Nah, man, a little thinking and understanding of the country you're talking about would have saved you embarrassment here. Don't be too hard on yourself, though, we all get got once in a while. ;)
