A 10 round mag will spit out bullets just as quickly as a 30 round mag. As if that really matters, I make the first round matter, followed by a minimum of one extra, maybe 2, so mag capacity simply does not matter. He problem is not the firearm, it is the operator, there is where your focus should be.
The problem can be many things and never rule out the operator. 15-17 works especially fine for multiple targets. I'm thinking oh-dark hundred and not broad daylight under optimal conditions. Barring 15-17,30 works just fine.

It is funny watching people who claim to be in favor of citizens being able to own guns but they want to ban normal capacity magazines. what they are saying is that at a "certain number of rounds" a legitimate owner becomes untrustworthy.
TD I wouldn't trust you with a 13 round magazine you'd probably shot my eye out. But a 30 round standard capacity you got my vote.

So why doesnt the rest of the developed world where the gun murder rate is vastly less than yours not care about that macho BS then ?

The freedom not to be arrested defending myself and family.

Given that according to your own FBI only one in 32 shootings is of a defensive nature so your family is in a far more grave danger than mine will ever be .... what has that to do with 'freedom' ?

According to your own FBI it very rarely is

Killing the bad guy rarely happens, sure. However, deterring the bad guy by displaying your firearm, shooting and missing, and shooting and wounding happens more times than guns are used to murder people.

There is no society like that what exists in the US our history has formed who we are. What you are ignoring is who is doing most of the murders and the high number of suicide's, both issues that have different causes and should be dealt with, when that is done the rate is as little as most other developed by Nations.

And this is somehow a good thing ? Whats wrong with you people ?

There's no reason to ban high-capacity magazines. It's a good thing because people are standing up for the rights and flouting a law that would seek to curtail their rights.

Yes it's a good thing this is how we came to have rights.

So to be honest you like having the legal facility to kill as easily as possible irrespective of the fact your murder rate is five times ours as a consequence ... and that this somehow represents freedom right ?

The murder rate isn't high because people legally own guns or 30 round magazines. It's high because of criminals.

The sad part about this is the people who champion gun control seem to just want to have high ranking in a popularity contest with Europe.

And I'd wager vastly ourweighed by the number of non fatal muggings at gunpoint .... If such research were ever 'legally allowed' to happen of course

When you remove gun deaths you are indeed correct, the US would then not be much different to other developed countries

Deny it all you like but its the guns that are clearly the problem

So why would you want high capacity magazines unless you were a mass shooter ?

Are you psychopath City magazines and I've never murdered anybody. Not having to reload or change out magazines.

You argue for high capacity magazines for lethal weaponry in a civilian environment .......then ask me if I'm a psychopath

Irony just means something with a lot of metal in it for you ....right ?
