I have yet to see any advice from foreigners that would comport with our constitution and would actually do any good. Most of it is akin to Aesop's fox or is from those who are hateful of the politics of gun owners in general

If their suggestions are in alignment with our Constitution, or wouldn't be effective in the environmental differences of the US to their home country, then our only duty is to point those issues out. Debating if Australian style confiscation would work here is a worthless argument given our Constitution. Suggesting over and over again only points out that these people aren't capable of learning.

They don't. Our murder rate is still less than a quarter of yours thanks to sane gun legislation

Many countries have gun rights but none have gun obsessions like the US ergo the criticism is well warranted

Are you denying that your homicide rate is higher now than it was in January 1997?

Nope. No war zone here! You've been believing the movies too much!

Not happening here. You've been watching too many movies. They are not real.

For what? Owning a gun? Should we criticize you because you own a knife?

We generally don't go around shooting people with our guns. Your population generally don't go around knifing people in the back. The United States is not a war zone.

A better comparison is the homicide and suicide rate, not gun death rate.

They aren't. Even the local gangs don't spend their time shooting each other much. This is a good thing. They are generally lousy shots.
