You want innocent people to be helpless when attacked by violent criminals. I like the idea that If I am away and a thug or two decides to rob our home, my wife has the means to kill them quickly and with little danger to herself. You, on the other hand, want violent criminals to be successful in their predatory endeavors and you want to pass laws that make women, or the elderly, easy prey for violent scum

That's as stupid as a long time smoker saying he has never been diagnosed with lung cancer. But I am a bit perplexed. You made claims-many times-=about being some combat soldier when British imperialism was running rampant in the Falklands. This claim is contradicted by your above claim.

My question stands. Why do my countrymen not want to kill one another less than yours do via stupid access to guns ?

why do your countrymen want to kill each other more now than when they had guns?
Individuals can not be reasoned out of beliefs they were not reasoned into.

I think your countrymen have become nanny state sheeple and are afraid to make their own personal safety an individual duty-but rather have outsourced that to the nanny state

That's all fine and good as long as their experiences don't involve saying what kind of laws the USA should have. I've talked with people from other countries about their experiences with weapons, I've heard from people who might hunt or target shoot in other countries and I have no problem with them sharing their experiences doing those things. My problem is when they complain about American laws when they don't live here.

I especially have the right to tell people from other countries to not offer up their comments about how the USA should have more restrictive gun laws if they're from the UK. People from other countries in general have no business saying what kind of gun laws the USA should have but especially people from the UK.

Answer my question on post #530 before you make any more comments about gun laws in the USA.

You're just defensive about your guns and view their opinion as 'complaining' when in fact they're only offering their opinion. Do you have a problem with others voicing an opinion? Have you ever, even once, listened to someone with a dissenting view of something and really stop and think about what they're saying and apply some critical thinking to it as to whether or not it makes sense? That's what debate is for, that's what opinions are for, that's why opinions from people from other cultures and countries can be valuable.
