I agree that gun owners do NOT have to worry about gun confiscation.

As the decades go by and the United States of America continues its inexorable change, there will actually be more gun owners.

There will be more crime, so the government at that time will either encourage people to buy guns for protection, or it will turn a blind eye if having a gun is technically illegal.

Being deprived of one's guns will be the least worry of people living in this country by, say, 2100.

I do not let "other" nations dictate what freedoms I can have.
Nor do I let Californians or New Yorkers tell me what I can do in Texas.
The same way I do not let Nickyjo tell me what I can do with my property.

I see what you call "paranoia" every day. You just gave an example of your own beliefs about guns intruding on mine.
We are not paranoid, and your post proves your intention to force your will on me.
You have NO RIGHT to tell me what I can do with my legally owned property. Yet you think you do, for some reason.

    1. Prove you know how to use them....how can i do that if I do not have one to practice with.
    2. Store them safely...I keep a few out that I can grab in an instant if needed. They are all loaded and ready to go.
    3. Don't transfer ownership to others without penalty....I can buy, sell, or give away any damned thing i feel like. I recently gave my granddaughter the .22 I had when I was her age.

You keep your "requirements" where you live and leave me alone.

Well, Mr. Fifth Columnist, I have a five shot .44 caliber revolver I call my "90 year old gun".
It is because when i am 90 years old, I would still be able to fire it in defense of my life, but not be able to pass your performance test that will get more and more difficult each and every year to the point only master marksmen will be able to pass it....in your world.

In my world (Texas) I will still be able to have it when I am 90 years old.
    You see, OLD LIVES MATTER.

Though, I know in California and New York they hate "old white men" to the core.

You paint a sad picture, but I think you may be right, though I am sure we both wish it not so.
I have 500 rounds of what I call, " heirloom ammunition " to pass down to my kin.
Brand new military 2013 7.62 NATO ball ammunition that will still be able to fire one hundred years from now.
They sealed the primers and then crimped them in and put sealer on the bullets too.

It is for my future grandkids children if needed.
I would like them to think that old crotchety grandpa PV was thinking of them in the coming dark days.

I know that it is of cold comfort to you, but someday (say, in the year 2100), those people living in what still remains of the United States of America will look back on 2019 as those halcyon days.

    Best wishes.

Waiting for someone to actually kick you in the nuts instead of preparing yourself so you don't get kicked in the nuts is an act of stupidity.

    so you don't support

    1) magazine limits
    2) "assault weapon bans"
    3) the Hughes Amendment"
    4) One gun per month restrictions

    Good to hear

Why should a transfer of a firearm from one non-prohibited person to another non-prohibited person be a crime? How is society hurt by this action?
If I don't answer your response to me, it's because you're in my ignore file.

Sorry, but I and others through our representatives tell you (and you tell me) what we can and can't do with your property rather frequently on a local, state and federal level. The second amendment is no more absolute than the first. Look it up.
