Thousand Oaks victims

You statement implies that the shooting could not have happened without extended magazines. We're just waiting on your to prove it.

I've addressed that point multiple times.

That's just not true and secondly, leaving it up to the courts is a cop out. In your opinion; you always have one, are Red flag laws a violation of the second amendment?

Which part isn't true - the point that your OP stated that the shooting would not have been possible without extended mags, or something else?

In your opinion; you always have one, are Red flag laws a violation of the second amendment?

And again, I'll give you the same answer I have every time - it depends upon the wording of the Red Flag law in question as to whether due process is followed. "Red Flag law", without details, means as much as "gun control".

Just to recap:

Jet puts his foot in his mouth, can't seem to remove it to make a valid point and thinks others "feel trapped".

The extended magazines/clips didn't make this shooting possible. To claim otherwise, as jet did, is dishonest at best and painfully ignorant at worst. Given the long history of jet being painfully ignorant about guns and gun control, we'll just chalk this up as yet another feeble attempt by the most ignorant poster on guns and gun control in the history of DP to make a valid point - just once.

But they were used because they were there - weren't they...

And so what about Red Flag laws Lursa? Had the cops taken the shooters guns away the last time they saw him, would that have been a violation of his second amendment rights?

So...then the laws attempting to remove them from people failed. Are a failure. Are useless because they only penalize the law abiding and do not affect those that still have them, want them, will use them.

Just like drugs.

And I'm not sure of the details of that investigation. If there was acceptable due process to apply a Red Flag order, then yes.

Because they were used. It was a point in the story. The key however is, and it's in the OP, is restraining orders / Red Flag laws and all you guys are avoiding it like it's a snake; which is very typical when you all fell trapped.

What do "Red Flag" laws have a to do with extended MAGAZINES?

They were used. And? Would people be less dead if 10 round MAGAZINES were used?

the magazine limit nonsense is just a way the anti gun movement schemes to whittle down on our rights
