You don't shoot and kill people for no reason.
It was a bad shoot.
Stupid crap like this shoot just makes it harder for everybody who carries.

Fair enough, Im just commenting on what was presented. Depends on the state at this point. In Ma he would be a murderer. You cant shoot anyone here unless they have you cornered.
 
Doesn't look like a good shoot to me. Not murder.. but probably manslaughter or a less charge. Its definitely not stand your ground.
 
There's something called insurance, something every store owner should have.

His losses should be recoverable. There's no justification to kill someone, unless his own life was in immediate danger.

He should be tried for murder.
 
Hard to tell whether justified or not because if someone is brazen enough to steal a weapon of all things and walk out while you're pointing a gun at him, maybe he's brazen enough to come back sometime in the future and use that weapon. Good thing for the shooter that the victim wasn't black, he would've been a racist as well for doing the exact same thing.
