Over 10k excess deaths in 1980. That number has only increased... which means the US has had almost 400,000 additional excess deaths since then.

But think of the FREEDOM!

If the founding fathers didn't want all those people to die...they wouldn't have passed the 2nd Amendment.

HANDGUNS kill no one. Never have.

I am thinking more of the 1981 Colt Python used in the ad.
Wish I had it now.
I had to sell my 6 inch blued model back in the day.

since then there are millions upon millions more guns but the gunshot death rate has declined. most deaths are suicides. the remaining, most are felons (banned from owning guns) killing other felons.

its hilarious that many of those who push arguments that demand gun bans won't answer if they want gun bans

But the trade off on freedom is just great. I mean.. the oppression those Europeans have had to deal with in the last 40 years is just terrible.

they sure aren't a safety issue to me or you. and Japan completely bans handguns-far higher rate of suicide. I have no problem with people being able to end their own lives on their own terms. Its the ultimate freedom. and obviously there is no punishment nor law that will stop it

What a dumb add, handguns don't kill anybody, never have, never will. People sometimes use handguns to kill but its the people who are doing the killing not the handguns. And that handgun in the add that's the same colors as the American flag, I don't see why they would have that in the add if they're against handguns. They're contradicting themselves with it.
