So, you want "common sense gun laws" because of mass shootings but can't actually tell us what would have prevented the shootings you present as a catalyst?

Decades of relaxed gun laws have enabled tens of millions to buy several hundred million guns. Don't be obtuse.

After thirteen zillion threads on GUN CONTROL, the usual suspects say banning guns is the only solution.

There has always been right and left.
There has always been liberals and conservatives.
There has always been guns.
There has NEVER BEEN mass shootings at this frequency

That being the case, what has changed?

The foundation of our society is what has changed.
it is crumbling underneath our feet.
Resort the sense of right and wrong and it will be fixed.
Restore the sense individual life has value and it will be fixed.
Restore the sense "the world does not revolve around you" and it will be fixed.
Eliminate the sense of instant gratification and it will be fixed.

You want solutions?
I just gave you four.

What laws would have prevented law abiding citizens from purchasing guns? Are you looking to make currently eligible buyers ineligible? Are you looking to confiscate guns currently owned by law abiding citizens?

I'm just trying to understand what "common sense" gun laws would reduce the number of eligible buyers and reduce the number of guns to the level to prevent mass shootings.
