Yep they will

That's exactly what I am telling you. I am also telling you a student will potentially shoot staff and other students.
The fact that you're laughing at this tells me you're not very experienced with how my population of youth can be treated by professionals or the other way around.

Maybe you should never own a gun.
Which talk radio host come up with that one? hahahathis is straight up hoplophobia.
This is why having these conversations in the gun control subforum is stupid. It's not hoplophobia. I'm pretty damned lax on gun control laws. I don't have much interest in them. I don't think Democrats or liberals were right to go after gun control after Parkland or Sandy Hook.this is straight up hoplophobia. I really don't no how to retort other than to point you in the direction and go find out how often it's CCW holders shooting people.... (hint it's not its usually democrats shooting each other with illegal guns).
That's not what my company commander said.
Maybe you should never post on this site. LOL

I'm more concerned about the serious, deadly flaws that already exist in our school systems getting worse.
This is an education reform issue for me, not guns, not CCW.

Good lord there is no shifting. If you gun hobbyists could look past your hobby for a minute you would see I am not focused on the guns, I am focused on under what circumstances and who should interact with students while carrying firearns, because of existing trends in school discipline procedures and who those impact. And the point suddenly shifts. are we conceding the prior point now?

We agree a gun is a tool. Do you want me to explain how staff use other tools against students and can kill them?A gun is a tool. Do the armed guards at football games shoot anyone? at jewelery stores? Bannks? armored car guys?
Seriously we protect materialistic bull**** with guns but suddenly it's unthinkable to do the same with our kids?

Focus gun horse, focus.

Under certain situations? Yes, absolutely. Likewise, I do not believe cops should be armed with certain tools (for example: enforcing school policies) just because they are placed in a school. Why? Because they aren't trustworthy or trained to implement them properly. So you are saying teachers are less trustworthy with tools than cops.

It's about the relationship and what tool is most appropriate for that individual to use and under what circumstances.

well then I am glad with your mindset you managed not to shoot anyone.
So you are saying teachers are less trustworthy with tools than cops.
You must be a big fan of the Kinderguardians programA gun is a tool. Do the armed guards at football games shoot anyone? at jewelery stores? Bannks? armored car guys?

IIRC, a faculty member stopped a shooting at Appalachia State with a personal firearms. I will look for it and post the results
You train a teacher fulltime for a year and he can carry a gun in school
You must be a big fan of the Kinderguardians program
So you think we need to train teachers 8 hours a day for a year to be qualified?
We don't even do that for the Marines....
Hoplophobia is strong with this one.
Can you provide any documented examples of armed teachers stopping shooters in progress?
I am far too apathetic to even try to look this up.

The problem is no one owns that money in the bank. The bank is protecting their interests.
arming a teacher on the cheap is not the best option for my child. If you want professionals with firearms protecting kids...then hire them.
