A Virginia woman was found guilty of helping her felon husband buy and sell guns. She interfered in an investigation. Her punishment is 1 year in jail and 6 months house arrest.

If we want better gun control start with cases like this. Barley a slap on the wrist. Why create more laws when ones we have are a joke when it comes to punishment for such crimes.

What do you see as an appropriate sentence?

Me in at 10 year minum

"shall not be infringed"
Ø

If the husband was too dangerous to own a gun, he should have been in prison, to begin with.

Had ol' boy been in the joint, ol' girl could have possessed all the guns she wanted.

I used to feel that way. However I do believe in 2nd chances and see how allowing someone to be out of jail but not full have all their rights reinstated.

But I do agree that if you've paid your debit and proven yourself all rights should be restored.

You were in for 10 years?

No auto correct I'm at a 10 year minum for this crime

So what minimum sentence would you like to see for someone helping facilitate the illegal sale of firearms.

I'm with you. Throw the book at them. But it won't happen until we end the drug war.

I'm All for ending the drug war. 8-10 years for catching a Buzz is stupid.

That's my opinion.
