The 18-year-old attended the Parkland, Florida school where a student murdered 17 people in February, then made himself famous with relentless calls for gun control in the wake of the tragedy.

Now he’s got a book deal, and publicists — and armed guards.

This could be titled "a hypocrite and his payday".

No, it could be titled "some people are so crazy they'll try and get someone else killed because they don't like his stance on guns".

Hogg's rhetoric is mostly BS, orchestrated by Soros backed, anti-gun nitwits. All the laws were in place in Florida, all the social workers had their day. The S.O. and FBI dropped the ball, big time. And as always, Hogg and all the other nitwits, are blaming the people who didn't do it, in lieu of the failures of all the people involved before hand or during the incident.

No worries...he'll be a suicide sure as ****.

That would not surprise me. He has gotten fanatical with his overblown success from people blowing smoke up his ass.

Yes he has...and like most useful idiots, they dropped him quickly.

Most anti-2nd amendment trash, Nancy Pelosi,Diane Fienstein, Michael Bloomberg, Barack Obama, the Queen of England, some Hollywood celebs dictators and other elite tend to be pro-gun when it comes to guns protecting their asses .But they would deny the average person the ability to defend themselves with a gun. This is why pro-2nd amendment and pro-gun aren't the same thing.

That right there is funny stuff (from an irony perspective). Oh well, I guess he wanted fame and to be out there pimping a cause. Best of luck to him.

While I probably don’t agree with Hogg’s politics on gun control (I have never listened to him speak), this isn’t hypocrisy.

Seems like hypocrisy to me. You either believe guns should be banned or you don't.

Hoggy wants to ban your guns, not his.

He meant that everyone else shouldn't be able to protect themselves.

It would be hypocritical if he said nobody, including bodyguards, should be allowed to have guns. It would be hypocritical if he said nobody else should be allowed to hire trained armed bodyguards. To my knowledge he hasn’t said all guns for all purposes should be banned.

Ah yes, I was wondering when the boogeyman would be mentioned :roll::roll:

Gee bud, maybe, just maybe, having a bunch of your friends murdered would cause you to have a rather negative opinion in regards to firearms. Stranger things have happened

"The people who didn't do it" tried to get Hogg killed by swatting him.

Are you sure he has armed guards?
If so...
Why does he need armed guards?
and
Note the difference between the need for armed protection and keeping guns away from people who shouldn't have them.

Sure it is. He calls for gun bans etc ... then surrounds himself with guess what armed guards.
They aren't wielding batons.

its hypocritical because most people aren't media whores who get bodyguards supplied to them. Most Americans cannot afford bodyguards. and many hypocritical POSs don't want me or you owning the same guns their bodyguards can use.

You know I don’t agree with his stance on gun control. I guess I just have a much more narrow definition of “hypocrisy” than you and others in this thread.

No he hasn't, but for all intents and purposes, he wants the avg. guy to forfeit his Constitutional rights, for Nonsensical gun laws.
There are no common sense gun laws to a liberal and there are more than enough laws already on the books. Just not carried out. Florida was a HUGE red light, loooong before the incident, just before the incident and during the incident. Hogg is putting the blame on a tool, not on the person responsible for using that tool.

Show me the evidence of that statement. Got a link to a police report that proves what you just said?
As for Hogg's attitude, it's been orchestrated from the get go. A high school kid, who has never been known for anti-gun rhetoric, just comes up with this polished, self assured, perfect picked wording to do speeches. I'm not buying it and neither should you. He's been well groomed by his handlers.
Did you not listen to other kids involved in that incident, who have been very pro-gun in their interviews?

Are you sure he has armed guards?

He is going waaaay beyond that!

It's the same hypocrisy of those Hollywood elitists, who make millions of dollars doing movies, where guns are the main theme and without them, the movies would be yawnnn, and they turn around and want gun bans. That asshole Liam Neeson is one of them.

A three second Google search shows that David Hogg's home was swatted.

Conservatives have been screaming for months now how awful and evil and despicable they think he is.

Gee buddy.....two plus two equals four.

As I said before.....gee, maybe there was a traumatic event, like one's friends getting murdered, which shaped his opinion.
I'm sorry that he is apparently too articulate for you to handle, but "he is a good public speaker!" is not evidence of anything, much less your fantasies.

Ah yes, the fabled "other kid". A whole one person. Yeah, that clearly means that there's a conspiracy:roll:
