I am for requiring you lead the charge to confiscate guns. you break down the first door in say Appalachia or "Over the Rhine" in Cincinnati to seize guns you want banned.

If you're going to the extreme of trying to get rid of one of our basic freedoms, I'll go the other way...execute drug dealers on the streets as they're found. That will almost wipe out gangster drug murders.

For a cost of around $5000 or so, I can purchase equipment to produce gun parts while I sleep. And the price for 3 D printers and CNC drops every day.

There is still the problem of making the ammunition which requires making the powder which you need proper chemistry to be able to do.

I agree more focus should be on regulating ammunition. But it is very easy to just give bullets to your friend....and its untraceable

That and Chicago provide irrefutable evidence that gun bans don't and won't work, as criminals and nutters won't care to violate existing gun banning laws that in place already now. More laws going to change this? The criminals and nutters still obtain their firearms through illegal manners, laws against that be dammed.

It doesn't make sense or follow any logic that a federal gun bad would achieve any different results than we have seen in real life.

Some people appear to be basing their belief that a federal gun ban would magically have the desired results are based purely on their feelings and not any sort of reasoning or logic.

Thank God nobody was killed except one of the suspects.

Agreed. To stop a bad person with a gun you need to have a good person with a gun that shoots him. This too has been proven time and again in real life and reality.

As the bodies mounted, my position evolved. The country can't handle gun rights. Americans are too immature. They don't deserve it.

and I'm for developing practical cold fusion and ending energy problems once and for all. That could actually happen eventually, but it is not possible to ban guns.

true but I and many serious reloaders have tons of powder. but that is a good point.
