It seems not too long ago it was weapons of war and high capacity magazines and people claimed banning those would save lives,while claiming no one is taking away your right to self defense or your hunting guns, now people seem to be calling for having multiple safes to keep guns and ammo seperate since the recent shooting used a shotgun and a revolver, specifically a .38 special revolver that is based off the original .38 in the 1890's. So what is next? All the anti gun crowd seems to act like people during the salem witch hunt, we gotta do something anything, but let's not actually think anything through, lets just use our emotions to think for us.
Heck if the next mass shooter used a bolt action rifle I can almost bet we would be hearing calls for 2 year waiting periods mandatory health screening and 2 foot steel wall safes that require govt permission notified 3 days in advance to open. To put it simply yall in the anti gun crowd either do not even know what you want or what will fix anything and try and respond with knee jerk legislation to make you feel better(much like burning witches made people feel safer about their crops even though it never fixed anything) or you know exactly what you want and are hoping no one notices incrementalism towards bans, which I think quite a few have caught on to and many bigwig anti gun proponents have admitted to.
So what is it, what will save the children, do any of you demanding laws even have a clue or an idea, or are you just demanding the accused witch be burned or drowned so you can sleep better at night even knowing it did you no good but harmed someone else.
