It's the Guns[W:1198, W:1943]

This is where the anti-gunners stop lying and admit that an all out ban has been the objective all along.

If the original poster and a couple of subsequent posters are flat out saying the problem is the "GUNS" there's no other explanation than their wish to to remove guns from the general population.
Looks like shot guns and 38(s) are the next group of weapons to go...

I wouldn't go that far.

But yes, the vast majority of guns should be banned. In fact gun control legislation should focus on what is permitted rather than what is banned.

Nope, the answer isn't punishing the law abiding, it's to quit making target-rich, risk free environments for crazed shooters. Notice, they almost always commit these acts in places where armed resistance is minimal.

Your answer is to make more places like that.

Your logic is flawed.

It's not about the guns. Guns, at large, are inanimate objects. It's about preventing guns from becoming lethal weapons while in the hands of the criminally deranged.
Read the Pew Gun Report cited by the author of your biased Frum opinion piece to learn what it's really about.

Responsible law abiding gun owners are not responsible for fixing the hearts and minds of those who are intent on using gun violence as their means to harm others. We need to enforce the laws already on the books, doing everything possible to keep guns out of the hands of the violently mentally ill. That is the only way we will prevent another mass shooting. Watch for the red flags, see something say something, stress the importance to gun owners that they must lock up guns, and hold those gun owners responsible who don't.

Other than that, it's time to stop scapegoating responsible gun owners and their "guns" as the problem.

That plan works nowhere on earth

That does not work

How you figure?

Let's logic step this. Almost every mass shooting has been in a location that was a gun free environment. Places where people can respond with guns, the damage has been minimal.

Basically, you are making a claim that isn't backed up by reality.

Most mass shootings happen where guns are banned. Golly, who would think that someone planning to kill as many people as possible would choose locations with little resistance? Gee, anyone who is honest about the problem and ways to solve it.

I can only conclude you are not interested in solving the issue, rather asserting your political belief, based on ignorance, hate and political hackery that banning guns is a positive.

It's not, and you proved your dishonesty with your post.

Case closed, have a nice day.

My god the entire developed world has these gun free zones without these mass shootings. You have to be kidding. Lol

That's exactly right. We knew that all along.

I'm calling out those opposed to gun control

NO. You are demanding the banning of firearms.

Here is your chance Vegas, tomorrow President Trump Tweet's he's read your posts, and is appointing you the Gun Control CZAR Giving you a free hand to "do what's needed".

Tell us what your "Gun Control" would look like.

You want to arm children. See.....I can make up stuff too. Lol

I’m so sick and tired of people thinking that banning the right for law abiding citizens should have a rights to have a gun. Let me explain You had a ban in the Brady bill in 1993 and then you have U.S. Assault Weapons Ban of 1994 that expired in 2004. But, of course you don’t want to justify who you are wanting that ban for! See the democrats are wanting to control guns but, yet you have a city that is controlled by democrats but the crime is a crisis from what folks say. But, you people glorify the mass shooting and, try to make your point. Ok so what? Obviously your laws didn’t stop it

Why won't you answer Renae's question?
Instead you taunt with a sophomoric assumption.

A thinking, reasonable person might look at all the factors. Disenfranchised youth, gun free zones, target rich environments, society that no longer values life, regular exposure to video games and movies that model mass killings, mentally and emotionally damaged-usually to the point of being on psychotropic meds.

Conversely...

120 million law abiding citizens, fairly conservative in values, value family and hard work...typically NOT counted amongst those that are committing mass shootings. 120 million law abiding citizens with daily exposure to firearms that do NOT commit murders or other criminal acts. Its obviously NOT "the guns". Target shooting numbers are at all time highs...30.6 million weekend target shooters ranking it among the top outdoor sporting activities in the country. CLEARLY...its not 'the guns'.

See...we COULD actually learn from these incidents...if it wasnt for mindless leftists promoting their cause. What we would see is that the people that commit the mas murders have similar problems to people that commit suicide and women that kill their own children. But no...

they insist...its the guns.

Move to Somalia. Live your fantasy. Lol

That's not my fantasy, I notice you have studiously avoided detailing what your gun control America would look like. I wonder what your so scared of admitting?

Your plan does not work anywhere

I also notice you have failed to present your plan to reduce gun violence. Maybe you have none

They never actually answer. Pro-Tip, wanna wreck a progressive's day, ask him what the end game for America would look like if their side got all they wanted. They never do answer.

What if I told you that it’s mental health
