the anti gun movement is the most dishonest political movement in the USA. its based on lies and dishonest motives. Of course lies are to be expected.
I suppose I shouldnt be surprised. At first because of things he was posting I thought, man...he really believes it and he IS that stupid. But then he ran from his comments...which pretty much indicates he was lying and knows he got caught in it.

I have said for years-active members of the anti gun movement are either ignorant (they actually believe crap like magazine limits will deter murderers and gang bangers) or are dishonest (their real goal is not crime control but harassing pro gun voters). each year the "ignorant" excuse grows thinner and thinner

so you are denying the following

1) that the anti gun movement is mainly a leftwing run movement

Most liberals support forms gun control, yes. But so do most Americans. They are out-gunned, if you will, by a skillful and determined one issue minority. It’s a little like anti-abortion activists.

2) that lots of democrats support banning guns-be it handguns, "assault weapons" or machine guns.

Guilty as charged with respect to machine guns. Assault weapons, as you note by your quotes is tough to describe. But has a suggested plank in a state or national platform included banning handguns.

3) that some of the guns Democrats seek to ban or have banned were almost never used in crime.

Really? What weapons are those? What weapons would you ban?

Really? What weapons are those? What weapons would you ban?

1) no firearms period should be banned

2) indiscriminate weapons-mines, bombs, etc

So since SCOTUS decided in Caetano, Heller and Miller the the Second Amendment protects "bearable arms" "in common use for lawful purposes" or "having a reasonable relationship to the preservation and efficiency of a well regulated Militia", and McDonald extended those protections to the states, why isn't this a settled matter?

Does settled law mean that it can never be revisited again? I think not

That's because no one really lives there. You have like, what? One person on average for every 100 square miles? It's hard to commit crimes on others when there is no one around.

But they do have much higher incidence of successfully completed suicides, though. They have all the right tools for the job.

Wait.. you mean that population density is the issue and NOT the number of guns people have???? WHAT.. you mean things other than gun ownership and lax gun laws.. cause violent crime? Say its not so..

On suicide.. Japan.. without hardly a legal firearm in their country.. has a MUCH MUCH higher rate of suicide than the US? How is THAT possible.. hmmm..

Face it man.. you don't know what you are talking about and are just acting on emotion. Please get informed. Seriously.. its important.. because the more you focus on the firearm.. the less you focus on the person wielding it.. and quite frankly THATS whats proven to reduce suicide and crime.
