that lie of yours has been destroyed and you aren't even correct on what happened. Obama tried to expand the category under 18 USC 922 of prohibited persons beyond those ADJUDICATED incompetent. HE wanted those who had a guardian for FINANCIAL reasons under SS banned. Trump merely erased that expansion and kept the statute-passed by Congress and signed by LBJ-intact

Changes to laws should originate in Congress, not in the Executive Branch. Do you really want this Administration to assume this as precedent in order to create or modify laws for "common sense" safety? Have you forgotten who the Vice President is?
