Toddler Shoots Pregnant Mother

I heard about this, and this family should of been more smart with their guns. However, some people being irresponsible with guns, is not a sufficient argument to ban them.

Okay, that's it. From now on, toddlers must get a background check and wait 10 days. Problem solved.

Damn, I guess the toddler really didn’t want a sibling.

It’s “smarter” not “more smart” and “should have” not “should of”. :2razz:

The boyfriend, identified as 21-year-old Menzo Braizer = EXTREMELY irresponsible gun owner.

I hope the charges he is facing include felony counts.

It is **** like this 21 year old jackass that give responsible, law abiding gun owners, and firearms, a very bad rep.

What if the kid played with a stove and accidentally blew the house up? Or playfully (accidentally) shoved the mom down the stairs and she died. His wife is dead and his son is now a murderer. Maybe just a fine and restricted gun rights he doesnt need to go to prison.

...with one of those legally owned guns.

Yeay! Guns. Boom boom.

Will America ever wise up and join the 21st Century?

Not sure what you mean by "wise up and join the 21st Century," since concealed carry has been increasing in this century. If you mean people need to quit being careless, I agree.

Like the 10 year old girl who accidentally killed her mother when trying to get their car out of a snowy driveway. A little adult foresight goes a long way toward preventing tragedy.

Seems to me that the posters here are missing a point. They do point out he was acting irresponsibly. He left a loaded gun within reach of a child. But why carry a gun in such a way in the first place. Safely installed into a locked glove box would have been more appropriate.

It may be criminal intent but would not the article have mentioned such a possibility if the police suspected such?

The more likely i would think is that this is another example of someone falling for the propaganda of the pro gun group and their argument that you need to carry a gun ready ti fire in case of meeting a criminal.

The fault here belongs to the man for believing that he needed a gun ready to fire because he believed what he had been told by pro gun groups.

I take my 2nd A right very seriously: I don't have any Constitutional guarantees for a stove, or stairs.
