unfathomable psychobabble is hardly answers. and wrong evasive dishonest "answers" are worse than nothing at all. Why not try something novel? Use standard English. Address the post you are actually quoting. see what happens

I own an AR-15, and yes, I got it legally. Went through a background check, and the weapon is registered, and was properly transferred. I have no problem with that. When people say that registration is the first step to confiscation, I laugh. There is absolutely no government in the USA that is going to attempt to take away peoples' guns without serious pushback that will result in their party permanently losing power. Yes, I AM for registration, universal background checks, and RESPONSIBLE gun ownership. Why? Because I am not a conspiracy fruitcake. BTW, if you live in the Houston area, come on by the shooting range at Carter's Country in Spring on Saturday, and join me in some shooting fun.

why don't you tell me what good registration does given it cannot be used to prosecute criminals. Texas doesn't have gun registration the last I checked. I think you are confusing filling out the 4473 with what registration really means-a central data bank of who owns what weapons.

The posse comitatus power continues to exist in those common law states that have not expressly repealed it by statute. As an example, it is codified in Georgia under OCGA 17-4-24:

Every law enforcement officer is bound to execute the penal warrants given to him to execute. He may summon to his assistance, either in writing or orally, any of the citizens of the neighborhood or county to assist in the execution of such warrants.
