Why do people think a youtube of some guy means actual fact and truth? Anybody can make a youtube video and post it. Why should anybody care to listen to some dishonest person trying to make idiotic statements and slippery slope arguments

If the youtube video says what the viewer wants to believe, then that viewer will take it as absolute truth. That's how advertising works.
