That is actually an outright bald faced lie.
Incorrect.
84% of the people want at least enhanced background checks: i.e. More Gun Control.
That is actually an outright bald faced lie.
Incorrect
So? Over 80% of the country wants more gun control.
That is actually an outright bald faced lie.
Eighty-eight percent support requiring background checks on all gun sales.
Eighty-four percent back preventing sales of firearms to people who have been convicted of violent misdemeanors.
Raising the age limit on gun purchasers is also widely popular. Eighty-two percent think the age limit should be 21 to purchase an assault-style weapon, and 81 percent support requiring purchasers of all firearms to be 21.
More than 3 in 4 voters, 78 percent, want to create a national database with information about each gun sale.
The same percentage support a three-day waiting period for all gun purchases,
and 77 percent support a ban on bump stocks, which President Donald Trump has called a priority for his administration.
Actually , 81 percent support requiring buyers of all firearms to be 21 years of age.

What's the percentage needed for passing laws that aren't Constitutional, effective, enforceable and necessary?
Laws such as requiring waiting until 21 years to buy a gun are enforceable and I predict ( with some insight from cousin who is a retired State Supreme Court Justice ) that law will not be found to be Unconstitutional.
Where is the effective and necessary part? My question was inclusive.
sorry-its obvious to those who understand guns. You don't even have a consistent position on this issue
I have a very consistent position: gun zealots are nuts, and we need to shove them into the proverbial corner. They are clearly no longer politically credible.
Funny thing that........we have armed security at our sporting events, concerts, courthouses, and any major event or gathering yet we do not want security in our schools, now explain to us again who are the idiots here??????
Armed security is one thing. Arming the musicians, athletes, janitors and anyone else on the staff that strikes your fancy is quite another, but I don't expect you to understand that.
Florida is not the first state that requires a person be 21 years old to buy a long gun.
Both Hawaii and Illinois also require that a person be 21 years of age to buy a long gun or a handgun.
Politco? Sorry. Cannot take it seriously. You would be just as sceptical if I used WorldNetDaily as a source.Actually , 81 percent support requiring buyers of all firearms to be 21 years of age.

So what about car "zealots",stereo and sound "zealots" and on and on. Does each type of "zealot have a certain corner and no longer politically credible? For that matter what kind of "zealot" are you? There must be something.I have a very consistent position: gun zealots are nuts, and we need to shove them into the proverbial corner. They are clearly no longer politically credible.
These kids are pawns of the movement. Which I think you meant to say.Well said. These kids are heroes of the movement

You misspelled heroes.
Heroic Pawns? While I support their right to protest. I disagree with their message.
Hero imo is a stretch most had permission to walkout without and consequences. The kids who risk harassment from fellow students or staff for not participating are more heroic than those who participated.
As you are yours. We are both free to be completely wrong. You are certainly entitled to your opinion

You may think you are wrong.....LOL
