A new, huge review of gun research has bad news for the NRA

The findings, while limited, point in one direction: Gun control can save lives.

Problem being, of course, that gun control per se is not unconstitutional.

any gun control at a federal level is even though the FDR corruption remains. Laws that prevent the use of firearms at a state and local level are often constitutional. gun bans are generally unconstitutional

Yes it is a lot of red tape and agency and expenditure.

If you want to do it right, you have gun safety class in every high school educating people about mental health and the need to turn their guns in before they make a mistake.

This way you have most of your citizens licensed to buy firearm.

People put on the list should be notified and have due process of challenge.

The list should be confidential and accessed only by licensed gun dealers.

I don't know all the ins and outs of maintaining such a list. Am I the only social engineer left on the planet?
