It seems that the Boycott NRA campaign is gaining support from some big businesses, including Delta airlines, AVIS, Hertz and others.

This seems like just the start of something that is going to gain momentum. This latest shooting appears to be catalyst which I think will see a significant change...

the NRA just gave the FCC an award for ending net neutrality, so **** them.

You know, this just means that they aren't offering discounts to NRA members anymore. The membership fees and donations are still coming in.

Yeah I'm not a member of the NRA so that I can get discounts it's not a discount Club. All they're doing is taking away any motivation I had for picking their companies over Enterprise or Penske.

Despite what has happened in Florida I don't think the NRA is going to change its stripes.

Wait, what? What does net neutrality have to do with the 2nd Amendment? Maybe the NRA thought it wasn’t alienating enough people.

They bestowed the 'cold dead fingers" award to the FCC chairman, why in the world? Heard it was a hand made long weapon worth considerably more than the gift limit for officials of his stripe.

These companies are about to be schooled on the danger of messing with the NRA.

Ending the tiny discount to NRA members is a small thing........losing the business of 150 million gun owners is a big thing.

YOU can give'em all you want, but the real world will just forget about'em, which is what the NRA deserves.

Thanks for pointing that out. Now I know what companies I should boycott.

given that NRA members are almost entirely law abiding, patriotic citizens who for the most part are tax payers, what is the purpose of this attack on the NRA? I would suggest its all about liberals upset that we didn't support democrat candidates who want to ban guns

As I said in my last post, thanks for the list, now I know which companies not to do business with. As for any other companies that might be boycotting the NRA that you didn't mention, a simple web search should give me the full list.

Despite what has happened in Florida I don't think the NRA is going to change its stripes.

And it shouldn't. The tragedy in Florida, aside from being the result of the shooter, was also the result of a failure by the FBI and by some of the deputies that were supposed to protect the students but instead hid as the cowards they were.

American gun sales are on the rapid decline. Companies like American Brands, Ruger, Vista Outdoors, etc. are on the decline. I refuse to invest in companies that profit from human suffering.

Gun companies have failed to adapt to an ever-changing economy. They lack innovation. Being connected to the NRA has deterred inventors, engineers, etc away from making better guns.

For example, smart gun technology exists. The technology exists for guns to be only shot by the actual owner of the gun where it can identify the fingerprint of the owner. The NRA refuses to endorse such needed technology and that's one reason why gun sales are TANKING.

I have sold pistols, m1911, Picatinny rail's, etc... the margins are razor thin.

That's what the NRA does. They suck away innovation, progress, and profits. Thank goodness for some brave kids from Florida exposing this organization for what they are: venomous Dilophosaurus that will become extinct very soon.

People in the NRA will tell you smart technology does not work.

LOL. It works for locks. Are you telling me it won't work for guns? That's laughable. Don't you think something like this can't work for guns?

So the NRA has a choice. They can disband on their own or we the people can do it by force. I will tell you this: If the NRA chooses the latter, it won't be pretty. Progress, however, is inevitable. You are either with us or against us. If you fight against us, you won't get off easy.

Sometimes you say the funniest ****. :lamo

where do you get this nonsense from. I want you to force the NRA to disband Bucky. I want you to threaten NRA members as you have done. Its hilarious

Have you ever been a member?

i used to do a lot of target shooting, but no, i have not been a member of the NRA. their current stand against net neutrality is disappointing.

You could say there is a bit of a decline from the Obama administration when gun sales were sky high. Within the last few administrations gun sales were lowest during the Clinton administration. During the Dubya Bush administration gun sales picked up a bit and during the Obama administration they shot through the roof. Now during the Trump administration you could say gun sales have leveled off and perhaps even declined a bit considering people aren't in fear of more gun legislation which would've become a definite reality in a Hillary administration, (thank God she didn't get in.) Then again, the number of gun sales in 2017 were only second to the number of gun sales in 2016.

Gun companies have failed to adapt to an ever-changing economy. They lack innovation. Being connected to the NRA has deterred inventors, engineers, etc away from making better guns.
Are you kidding? They keep coming out with the latest and greatest in gun designs. Just a couple of years ago Canik came out with a new and very good handgun. Other companies have come out with guns that use new ammo feeding systems that are more efficient and where you can have a longer barrel without increasing the overall length of a gun so you can have a gun that's more accurate and powerful but not longer. They keep coming out with new alloys and other synthetic materials to make guns with to make them better and better.

For example, smart gun technology exists. The technology exists for guns to be only shot by the actual owner of the gun where it can identify the fingerprint of the owner. The NRA refuses to endorse such needed technology and that's one reason why gun sales are TANKING.
The NRA opposes smart gun technology because it is an unnecessary hindrance to the gun owner. Smart gun technology would mean that the gun could only be fired when its in close proximity of a wrist watch that must be worn by the user or as you said, by the user's fingerprints. To use such technology would create unnecessary hindrances and could mean a big advantage for the bad guy in a self defense situation.

As for gun sales tanking, you're living in a dream world, or you're living back in the Clinton administration.

I have sold pistols, m1911, Picatinny rail's, etc... the margins are razor thin.
You sell pistols? From all your posts you come across somebody who hates guns, not somebody who would sell them. You're talking out of both sides of your mouth.

That's what the NRA does. They suck away innovation, progress, and profits. Thank goodness for some brave kids from Florida exposing this organization for what they are: venomous Dilophosaurus that will become extinct very soon.
WRONG! The NRA sucks away UNNECESSARY and INCONVENIENT innovation and progress. The NRA is all for developing guns that shoot faster, that are more accurate, that are more powerful, that are more user friendly, ect. They're just opposed to some of the developments that would hinder lawful gun users, such as the smart gun technology you mentioned.

People in the NRA will tell you smart technology does not work.
And it doesn't. Not in ways that are convenient to the user.

LOL. It works for locks. Are you telling me it won't work for guns? That's laughable. Don't you think something like this can't work for guns?

Locks are different than guns and they serve a different function and they're used in different situations.

So the NRA has a choice. They can disband on their own or we the people can do it by force. I will tell you this: If the NRA chooses the latter, it won't be pretty. Progress, however, is inevitable. You are either with us or against us. If you fight against us, you won't get off easy.
Not going to happen my friend. The tide has turned against you. As a matter of fact the tide was against you even during the Obama administration but now during the Trump administration its really against you. And its going to keep going that way.

As for your posts and the stuff you say and how you come across this is what I have to say to you. Dude, get your head out of the clouds. You're living in a dream world.
