Common Trait Among the Gun Control Crowd

And I've gotten through my life just fine without many things that other people might own, so what's your point?

I've gotten through my life without need of a public defender or SNAP. Is that cause to do away with either of them?

Aw it's cute how you both jumped to the same hive mind conclusion. I'm just saying I have no need for a gun and don't care for the often hyper-crazy gun culture that I always see. Those who use guns for protection tend not to worship them. Most don't even like to carry it around.

If I own a gun it isn't going to stop gang bangers from robbing the liquor store across the street. This only works if and only if I just happen to be there. So I fail to see your point.

If I wear my seatbelt and get a flu vaccination, that is not going to stop some guy who is driving 100 MPH from dying if he hits a semi head on and it won't stop a guy on the other side of the country from getting the flu

Maybe if you owned and/or worked at the liquor store a gun and the proper training on how to use it just might help stop robbers.

I'm surprised you aren't against seat belts and flu vaccinations. It is big government after all. Regardless guns are just a false sense of security and the gun industry serves only a hyper-crazy sensitive almost cult-like obsession to those who have them. I do well enough without it. But this is my opinion, you are free to have a different one.

I worked at a liquor store before, I did not receive or need firearms training to work there. That concept is ridiculous.

please don't project your fear your own lack of skill in using firearms on to others. I stopped a violent mugging upon my person by shooting one of the muggers with a licensed pistol I carried. we get teh fact that you apparently are trying to make laws designed to prevent persons similar to you from being armed.

I don't make any laws but I do tend to avoid confrontations. I have been lucky enough where I never needed to defend myself in a situation like that, most people are.

I must say you are partially right. Too many people get guns and don't get the proper training. They think that all they need is a gun and some ammo and they're all set and can effectively use the gun to defend themselves. Just as you need some training with cars and driving in order to be able to use a car to get from point a to point b, you need some training with guns in order to use guns to truly provide security.

Well it sure does prove you don't need 10 AR-15s for the false claim of defending yourself that you gun nuts always like to use.

False.

It only proves that you've never had to defend yourself. Many have.

The only people who use multiple guns (outside of target practice) are mass shooters/killers.

Most people are lucky enough to never have their house catch on fire, that doesn't mean its a bad idea to have fire insurance.

Hunters too sometimes use multiple guns depending on what they're hunting. The same reason why somebody might have a set of many screwdrivers of different shapes and sizes, different tools for different jobs.

I've never had a fire but I've got 4 extinguishers and 3 smoke alarms.

Target shooting is a huge sport that takes many, many forms and encompasses rifle, shotgun and pistol.

Hunting is a huge sport that encompasses many different species of game, birds, mammals, reptiles and covers both food prey and pest elimination.

Collecting is the hobby of many thousands of good people.

All of these have "multiple guns."

You simply have no idea what you're talking about.

Funny. How do you explain would be cop killers like the militia movement, who are obsessed with their fantasies of a "ZOG" and worship their firearms, then?

"Uncommon".

Oh really? Because I’ve been seeing plenty of support for them—-not to mention, of course, it only takes one individual to pull a trigger.

Perhaps you and I have a different meaning of "common". Evidently we would also have a different understanding of the word "anecdote".
