So much for the moronic argument made here repeatedly that legal gun owners are not violent offenders.

Cruz purchased an AR-15 rifle in Florida approximately a year ago, legally. A law enforcement source told CNN's Evan Perez that Cruz purchased at least five guns in the past year.

Of course, most of us know that the argument about legal gun owners is just another gun zealot lie. But, I thought I'd remind everyone about that fact.

The VAST majority of legal gun owners are not criminals and will never commit and such acts, to say otherwise is a pule an unadulterated Lie.

Until they are not. Right?

Yes but being a legal owner of anything doesn’t mean there’s zero chance they might do something illegal. A driver is usually a legal car owner until they commit an unlawful act like vehicular hommicide. That doesn’t mean people should turn in their vehicles.

In the case of this shooter I blame the shooter and those that didn’t take seriously the people that notified authorities about his suspicious behavior and did nothing about it.

The vast majority of legal gun owners will live their entire lives and never commit a gun crime or shoot up a school or concert or movie theater ect.

What law did he violate for which someone should have "done something"?

Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Fact remains. Here is a legal gun owner who shot 17 people to death. The Vegas guy was a legal gun owner who shot 50 people to death. And, the Newtown punk grabbed his mom's legal guns and shot her plus 28 first graders to death.

The death list is long, cuz.

...until they do. 11,004 deaths by firearm-related murders in a single year isn't normal. By contrast, we've had just over 3300 deaths as a result of domestic terrorism in 22 years. In that same period of time, over 210,000 people were murdered in the United States with firearms.

Before he pulled the trigger in the school, anything the authorities did would have violated his constitutional rights. The constitution protects psycho killers, like everyone else, until they pull the trigger.

The only thing that would have stopped him is if those guns he posted pics of were illegal and if laws against hate speech could be enforced before he acts on them.

Threatening for one.

It's not illegal to say stupid thinks unless you get specific. I can write that I want to kill blue eyed devils all day. I can even write that I want to be known as the blue eye devil killer. I cannot say I plan to walk into the Moron church tomorrow on 17th street and kill all those blue eyed Morons while they sing hymns, however.

Nothing Cruz wrote would be probable cause to strip him of his rights. Nothing.

There were 650 murders in Chicago in 2017. Nearly all with illegally possessed guns. That's far more than all mass murders in the past 10 years.

The Newtown punk killed his mother and stole her weapons. I'm not going with legal on that one.

Legal guns in his residence. You sure have a funny way to define legal. Those were as legal as they get.

Even if true, so what?

There were over 20 reported incidents with this person. Some of those were specific.

So tell us, how many of those murders were done by legal gun owners............

I honestly don't care. I doubt the families of the 210,000 people murdered by people using firearms since 1995 care either.

Bottom line--it's time to vote out the NRA whores.

I realize that, the whole truth would not be conducive to pushing your stand on the issue. Enough said.

It's true. You're cherry picking your numbers to fit your agenda.

He knows that, and as with anyone that does they will not admit it, know why, they do not care, said it himself.

Hate speech laws can be enforced prior to acting on the hate or speech. I'm not sure he ever directed his threats toward a protected group.

Threatening anybody is a crime however.
