I have yet to see any posters actually respond or back you up on your claims, I have seen people ridicule your claims that the intent of the founders has no relevance to constitutional scholarship or interpretations

The difference is the 10th amendment only covers things NOT listed in the constitution or bill of rights. The second amendment clearly says "shall not be infringed." By your logic, states have the right to define their own free speech, double jeopardy, and due process of law.

Based on what I've read, including some interesting work by Dave Kopel, concealed carry is a privilege and open carry is a right. If states wish to discourage open carry then they need to encourage concealed carry. Discouraging both is as bad as voter suppression.

But why do you YOU CARE SO MUCH about doing away with guns? Not you will answer without some glib "form" answer or something, but what is your stake in it.
And IF you really cared which I doubt you would answer up. I've pretty much read all your responses on each thread and yet have I seen an answer.

You have no right to carry a gun everywhere. For example, you generally may not enter a courtroom with a firearm.

It says "the RIGHT of the PEOPLE to keep amd BEAR arms SHALL NOT be infringed." so explain to me how I don't have the right to carry anywhere.

It's because the Founders immediately passed restrictions on where the people could and could not bear their arms. Or not.
