We Need More Gun Laws?

Granted this was linked from a Obama hit piece on the Daily Caller, but the results are from the Office of the Inspector general. I suspect that I could go back to the Bush years and find similar results from these audits.

My question is, why are the political hacks in DC trying to make new laws while the current laws on the books are being lackadaisically enforce?

Everyone is calling for stiffer background checks while to government refuses to prosecute people who are already lying on thier forms.

Because it's a cool way to get people excited. The story is so simple.

But controling weapons costs miney and nobody wants to waste Dollars on something with no potential of buying votes.

The anti's want guns banned. That is the bottom line. They want the control to say you don't need a firearm Mr or Ms legal gun owner because bad
guys use the firearm for bad things. So instead of putting the bad guy or gal in jail they want us disarmed. I think it's pretty clear what they have been
trying to do. If you lie on a Firearms Transaction Record, Form 4473 that is a felony. It needs to be prosecuted every time!
