New Pro-Gun Law Introduced By Republicans.

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"

Where have I heard that before? LOL

since the federal government (mainly through its courts) has overturned state bans on gay marriage, gay sex, interracial marriage and abortion, it should have the power to overturn state limitations on a real constitutional right
DOUBLE LIKE!

Havent read the bill yet but I agree with your statement 100% and I have talked about this many times.

Unfortunately what makes those other things easier in reality is the fallout against the individual isnt as bad.
A person can be in a gay marriage and its not a crimes, or if you discriminate against a gay person, the gay person isnt guilty of anything. SO fighting against those things and for equal rights is much easier. I carry my gun where the state says i cant it could be HUGE trouble for me.

Dont get me wrong I am still 100% for fighting against this unconstitutional laws just saying its a different animal and has to be done administratively

Yes, and all of this is absolutely sickening... I mean, where in Article 1 Section 8 is there any enumerated federal government power to legislate on ANY of these issues? ... And when was Article 5 ever invoked to formally amend the Constitution to grant the federal government these powers? I'm waiting Leftists...

Wickard completely went against the literal text of the Commerce Clause, and is a perfect example of SCOTUS wrongly and unconstitutionally inserting their own opinions into their rulings.

In your opinion which has no legal standing

VG has posted that Wickard gives the federal government the power to restrict you from growing tomatoes in your back yard garden.

EXACTLY, and that is completely insane on every level... The thought process (and lack of logic) of Leftists completely baffles me
